It sounds like he's made his mind up Jager.
At least he won't sign for Milan though.

You have to understand his point. Never playing can be very frustrating. I would be frustrated if i were him as well. More so by Cruz...he is deserving of a starting spot...if not Inter then any other team! I feel bad for Cruz!

“I just want to play football. If I can do that here then I will be very happy, otherwise I will go to have my fun elsewhere.”
Among the Serie A contenders for the Uruguayan’s signature are Torino, Palermo and Sampdoria.

He said yesterday after the game, that he was leaving, so that is what I believe.

Mid-table clubs, that's who he'll end up playing for if he stays in Italy.

“I said that I want to enjoy my football. We will see what happens from here until the end of the season. The problem is that if I cannot play regularly, then I don’t feel an integral part of the team. For now I’m focusing on the Copa America, then we will see.”

That would seem the most likely destination with Novellino in charge (the same coach he had in his best ever season in Italy while on loan at Venezia).
However, it looks like Novellino will leave Sampdoria at the end of the season.

Alvaro Recoba claimed he was going to leave Inter at the end of the season, but Moratti is still hoping that Il Chino will stay at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
“If it was up to me, Alvaro would stay with us forever. This time it’s his choice,” explained the President, who has often persuaded the Uruguayan to stay in the past.

Recoba renews Inter vows
Sunday 6 May, 2007
Alvaro Recoba says he was so moved by the Scudetto celebrations, he is now “70 per cent sure” he will stay at Inter.
The Uruguayan has been at the club for a decade with an increasingly marginal role, this season making just 13 appearances, only five of which were in the starting XI.
He had hinted at a summer departure to “enjoy” his football elsewhere, but the situation appears to have changed.
“Not being able to help my teammates in the difficult times really hurt me. I was unable to completely enjoy the title win in Siena, so in a certain sense I felt out of place,” he told the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport.’
He did get the chance to play – and score his only goal of the campaign – in last week’s party atmosphere 3-1 win over Empoli at San Siro.
“On an emotional level, that night did change things for me. I was awed by the affection showed by my teammates at my goal and the chants of the fans.
“At the end of the game I was almost moved to tears when Massimo Moratti hugged me. It was an energetic embrace full of sincere affection. I really needed an evening like that, especially as my parents and children were in the stadium and I finally felt like I was part of this celebration.”
That San Siro greeting has swung Recoba’s opinion back towards remaining at the club he first joined in 1997. So is he still so convinced he’s leaving Inter?
“In all honesty, no. I just want to play football and to do it here would be the greatest for me. I think my chances of staying are 70 per cent now.”
He has been linked with a number of sides in case he does move on, including Palermo, Sampdoria and Roma.
“There’s no point talking about these options now, even if playing with Daniele De Rossi and Francesco Totti would be fun. My priority remains Inter.”

You would be so lucky to have him at Roma, with all your other talented strikers....NOT.
Recoba paired with Totti would be an incredible duo, imagine a box striker in front of them in Xmas tree formation???

I don't think Roma need him to be honest, they could really do with an out-and-out striker not another forward/support striker.

Don't think so. We have our formation that few clubs this season has broke down. Did you see the Roma Palermo game? We sent in 5 players on the attack, like hungry wolves. Recoba would just get in the way. And we have the best striker in Serie A...Totti! 22 goals!

You have only one striker, that is THE problem.
You also drawed and lost to a lot of minnows this year. Totti is the best player in Serie A, beside Kaka, but its obvious that Roma lack strikers, or even they wouldn't make futile attempts at all the garbage they have brought in over the years.
Should I list them for you?
