Mario Balotelli - set to sign new contract
I heard about this kid a year ago, and he is something to be hold apparently. Wanted by Barca and Fiorentina, Inter have signed him to three years....to fend off other teams.
Soccer experts in Italy regard this kid the real deal, and the FIGC has tried to cap him twice..for U17, but law in Italy states that he can not play since he has no "Italian blood".
However he was born in Italy, and has adopted Italian parents, living in Brescia.

So yes, he is not true Italian, but at least he IS born Italy.
As for his professional career, apperently he has moved to the primavera team, and has outpeformed the young Portugese phenom we have in our youth system,
he is 1.90 meters x 85 kgs
It means Barwuah is 6ft 4, 188 Pounds !! At 17!

As I have said, the FIGC is trying to cap him, but can't.
Now the plan is that when he reaches 18, he will become full Italian with the right papers, and he can start playing for Italy.
Ghana has tried to contact him, but apparently he doesn't want anything to do with him.
He apparently only speaks Italian, not 100 percent sure on that, and that he wants to play for Italy.
Barca are in hot persuit, but Inter now have signed him to 3 year contract...the maximum allowed.
He help Inter defeat Milan reserves a number of weeks ago by scoring two goals, if I'm not mistaken.
They were big on Martins at this age, and they were right about him. They are even bigger on this kid, as many people are, and he is bigger, faster, stronger, and has more technical ability.

Read on Inter.it that he played for the primavera squad against Chievo. Came off the bench and scored.
Our future in the striking dept. is looking good. Slavkovski, this beast and ribas.
