Nobody is saying this will happen now, or next year, but eventually it will.

for some reason i have this hunch that messi will be with inter sooner rather than later

not for this deal, but something is going to give.

with all those argies trying to convince him, then if you figure that roman could be with inter by this time next year

The Argentinean star has been linked to the Nerazzurri by the Italian and Spanish media, with Massimo Moratti planning to lure him away from Barcelona this summer.

Lionel Messi is definitely one of the most sought after players in the world, with many important clubs after the talented Argentinean, including Inter who are being touted as the front runners to sign the Barcelona player should he leave the Catalan club.

However, when asked about Inter's interest, Messi dribbled past the question with a very diplomatic answer.

"I don't know anything, I only read about their interest on the newspapers. The only thing I can say is that the interest pleases me."

Messi also spoke about Ronaldinho, defending his team-mate from the criticism he received in recent weeks.

"I don't understand the criticism towards Ronaldinho who is the best player in the world," declared the Barca midfielder.
