Yeah, I think it's unlikely that Kaka will leave but you never know. They need to get a CL place this season to make sure otherwise he could be tempted by Madrid.

Very good point, you keep me sharp.
Its a wait and see thing...will he leave for that?
Interesting...by the same token, Ronny would not come if they weren't involved.
So the ramificatons of not getting the CL spot for a club like Milan is huge.

Well I don't believe Ronaldinho moving to Milan relies on them getting into the CL as much as it does with Kaka. I get the feeling with Ronaldinho that he wants a change of scenery, I mean he's basically done all he can with Barcelona in terms of trophies. Plus there's these little disagreements he has with Rijkaard every now and then. It might just be a ploy to earn himself a new contract but I think he's got his eye on a move to Milan whatever the circumstances.

I find it funny, since Rijkaard is rumoured to replace Ancelotti at the end of the season.

The latest rumour is that Moratti is set to offer £71m for Messi in the summer.

He won't get him now unfortunately, but if the planets are aligned, he can work magic with Barca. We can deal with them, and have bought phenoms in the past off of them.
I still predict two seasons. One more season of discontent, then his agent will force a move. Inter being logical, since will spend the cash for him.

Its a chess game. I feel Milan will spend big this summer to correct some problems they didn't address last season, and keeping one area.
Moratti knowing this, will weigh his options in the next little bit.
Buffon no, but Messi yes.....two years.

From what Moratti was saying it sounds like he's trying for more free transfers, just like Cambiasso, Figo, Dacourt and Solari in the last couple of years.

That's a given. However they won't abandon it all together. Ibra was not free.

Yeah, you'll make at least one big signing each season.
Juventus were similar before our relegation.

Lionel Messi has admitted he is flattered by talk that Inter want him – but he’s just concentrating on Barcelona at this moment in time.
Nerazzurri owner Massimo Moratti is a massive fan of the Argentine starlet which did lead to reports that he was lining up a £70m summer bid.
But Messi has told Calcio Italia magazine that he has no plans for an immediate future on the Serie A stage.
“I always feel honoured and happy when such famous people as Moratti and important clubs give me praise,” he stated.
“However, as I have already said in the past, I’m only thinking of Barca for now.
“Leaving Barcelona is something that I am not considering presently. I’m very happy at this club and everybody here is taking care of myself and my whole family.”
Messi was signed by the Nou Camp outfit at the age of 13 and is presently contracted to them until June 2014.
The former Newell’s Old Boys youngster, who appeared for Argentina at the 2006 World Cup, is known as La Pulga – the Flea.
