Well here are the facts:
- Moratti wants to sign Messi
- Messi isn't entirely happy with his current wage
We'll see what happens.

give me quotes on him saying he's not happy even if he isnt he's not the type of player to go on and talk about.. i think its just ppl PRESUMING he's not happy with just 2 mil.. coz it seems unfair..
we'll see what happened.. and i can tell you now NOTHING will happen if they blow it up enough he'll mayb have a press conf. to get rid of it and he'll state that he doesnt want to leave
everyone WANTS TO SIGN MESSI.. real even mourinho's fond of him and we know it.. why is this one such a big deal .. coz someone SAID they might be willing to actually pay IT?! go the barca site.. even joan laporta has nothing but love for messi..rijkaard loves him.. rijkaards letting him grow up under his wings..the whole team is crazy about him.. catalunyia loves him LIONEL MESSI IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE, THIS IS A BUCH OF ***..

Well despite what you may think they're actually building a title winning side for the first time in almost 20 years. Admittidly there isn't much competition for the league this season but their squad can rival anyone in Europe, and that includes Barca.

I remember reading stuff like this before Shevchenko left Milan in the summer.
I just wouldn't take anything for granted.

You're right, in an uncompetitive league. I know Inter have some good players and even Jose Mourinho thinks they have the best squad in Europe but they couldn't even win their Champions League Group, beaten by Bayern Munich who aren't even top of their national League.

wikipedia is fkin bollocks, anyone can make a membership and write anything they want on it, it shouldnt be ur fountain of knowledge for anything.
the supplements is true, newells old boys couldnt afford it so they released him and barcelona signed him. it was in fourfourtwo a few months back, thats one of the best football magasines in england.
u do realise if someone has growth difficiency disorder that means theyre too small.... how do you think they help them grow?

I'm not arguing whether they're the best team in Europe.
I'm just saying they're not crap (as you seem to think they are).

First off. Everyone has a price.
Many of you believe that Moratti would actually pay 100 mil+. You are all wrong. Moratti's buying patterns have changed in recent years and some of our best players in the last few years were either purchased at discount or loans from other teams. ex: Veron, Figo, Cambiasso, Crespo
Buyout cluases are ridiculous to begin with, and unless it is straight from Messi's contract it could be a lie.
And to all of you who insist on Quoting Messi, as saying he is happy and he'll never leave Barca: How many times have you read headlines about players pledging their loyalty to a club only to leave the next year?
