That's how it should be. I don't see no problem with Sinsi, or his appointment. Just because he can be an ass on the field or real life, doesn't change the fact that he can be a coach or learn to be one.

He is friends with Mancini, that is why he is there though. Make no mistake. For now that is good enough for me.

Former Italy boss Marcello Lippi has tipped Inter’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic to succeed Fabio Cannnavaro as the European Footballer of the Year.

The striker has impressed since his summer switch from Juventus and has already scored 10 League goals so far this term.

“Ibrahimovic is the best player of the championship,” said Lippi in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“If he wins something this year then I believe he is a main candidate to be Cannavaro’s successor when this year’s Golden Ball award is presented,” added the Viareggino.

“He isn’t like Marco Van Basten, but they are very similar from a physical point of view and they both came from the Ajax school.”

The super Swede, who scored 16 goals in his first year with Juventus in 2004-05, has also won the praise of Inter boss Roberto Mancini and owner Massimo Moratti this term.

“Ibrahimovic is playing very well and he’s a very serious professional who never gets big-headed,” said the Nerazzurri chief. “He’s doing some extraordinary things.”

He needs to work on a few things like his teamwork and his aggression but in terms of tequnique he's better than Ronaldinho in my opinion. The goals have really started to come this season as well which is what he was missing with Juventus.

Ibrahimovic out for season...will hurt his bid for player of the year.

Internazionale's title celebrations have been tempered slightly by news that striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic requires surgery on his groin. The goal ace is set to go under the knife meaning he will miss the rest of Inter's season as well as Sweden's Euro 2008 qualifiers against Denmark and Iceland.

Ibrahimovic's 15 goals this season have helped the Nerazzurri clinch their first title won on the pitch since 1989, but surgery on his niggling groin injury means he will not be able to further add to that tally this campaign.

"I can't keep going like this without surgery anymore," Ibrahimovic told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Swede has suffered from a history of groin problems, undergoing surgery back in 2004 when he was with Ajax, but the problems have only grown worse since, and surgery now seems to be the only solution.

Inter meet Roma in the final of the Coppa Italia in May, but Ibrahimovic will have to sit out the season's finale: "I won't wait for that," he confirmed.

It's a shame but now the title's in the bag there's no reason to continue to play him while he's injured.

Yeah, better that he get the surgery done as soon as possible so he can get a head start on his recovery-- it's much more important that he be fit for next season than play the rest of this season with the scudetto already won.

A shame that his groin has gotten so bad, though. Best of luck to him in his treatment; he may play for Inter, but he's a favorite of mine. Considering his remarks regarding the scudetto win, it's good to know that even a recurring groin injury isn't enough to stop the "Zlatan style".

I don't like him for what he did to Italy in Euro 04...i hold grudges. But he is a great player and will be back stronger then ever next season.

I know what you mean about Euro 04, but for me, I can't help but like a player who's such an arrogant self-promoter and yet has such a sense of humor about it all (no sarcasm, I mean that). And even beyond that, I like his style of play.
