We didn't need this asshole. An abuse of power. The addition of crespo was enough. Adriano now must go, and I've been hearing about a 30mil+ offer from Man U.
Sure we have the names, but can they play togetther? No fucking way.

lol. should make for an interesting blend in the dressing room. Ibra has/had a beef with Vieria, Cordoba, and Mihajlovic.

with the price range of 25 mill, there are other creative forwards available, maybe not as good technically but definitely with better attitude and performance.

Totally agree. He has been very poor on the field this year and his attitude is horrible.
However, he can get a 'new spring' in Milano and score goals again, but Juve can be happy that they got so much for him.

Well, what can I say. Totally out of the blue, and completely unexpected. Personally, even when he was playing like crap, he was still dangerous, unlike our underperforming hitman.
Inter only have Recoba who can supposedly create, and he is either injured or not playing for whatever reason. So we have all these "box" strikers, and nobody to feed them. This coupled with the fact that Veron is gone, and we have two DMs in the middle of the pitch. Makes more sense now.
As for Ibra being a headcase, time will tell. He IS not a player I like, and I was happy with Crespo only.
The price is exactly what I figured he would go for. Good deal for Juve, good deal of Inter if he pans out.
Martins is done now, there is no need to hold him back, but I hope its a loan deal.
That should wrap up our transfer market.
Make no mistake, Toni was the target, but it was not meant to be. Last year goal scoring was a problem, but I think this year it should be remedied...I hope.

Inter fans, if you have to choice, do you want Martins or Zlatan in the club?
With Juve in Serie B and Milan with minus points, Inter are favourites for Serie the coming season. Great squad and now they just have to fit together and find the right formation and system.

Make no mistake....
Ibra is far better than Martins, not too mention they are different players. However at the moment, we have plenty of "Martins" type players, but only one player that can create like Ibra.

I remember hearing Pele talk about the player kissing the badge and saying he always loved Milan and then joining Madrid and kissing the badge and saying he always loved Madrid, he said the player only loves who pays him more. He even said this is a disease in football.
Zlatan is one of them.

He's always favoured Inter and never said anything about following Juve before signing for Capello..it will be hard watching him skin defences leading the line for Inter, but put it this way; he'll need to work on his finishing to beat Gigi.

Zlatan looked good
Quote:
Inter debut summer signings
Sunday 20 August, 2006
Maicon’s strike gave Inter victory over Real Mallorca as Patrick Vieira, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Fabio Grosso and Hernan Crespo made their debuts.
Coach Roberto Mancini fielded a three-man defence in the first half of the Trofeo Pirelli match in Spain, with former Juventus star Ibrahimovic partnering Adriano upfront and World Cup winner Grosso in a more advanced role.
However, the team struggled to create chances with this experimental tactic. In fact, Mallorca had the best opportunity when Arango rattled the crossbar.
When they switched to a 4-4-2 after the break, the Nerazzurri were far more effective and summer signing Maicon turned in Adriano’s cross with a strong right-foot finish.
Luis Figo also went close, while Arango wasted a good chance when he was clear on goal in front of Francesco Toldo.

Adriano looked like shit, but Zlatan looked great.
New rumour has both Adriano and Martins leaving. With Martins on loan.

Adriano and Martins on move
Saturday 19 August, 2006
Inter are ready to sell both Adriano and Obafemi Martins, insist reports in the Italian media, with Real Madrid and Manchester United awaiting developments.
It has become clear that the club has to start reducing its selection of strikers after bringing in both Hernan Crespo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the past few weeks.
At first it appeared that Martins would be the sacrificial lamb, as he has allegedly received several £10m offers from Premiership clubs including Portsmouth and Newcastle United.
The Nigerian has not made the journey for this week’s friendly tests against Real Mallorca and Sporting Lisbon, officially due to a bout of flu.
However, the latest reports suggest that Adriano is also in the Nerazzurri departure lounge following a dismal season.
The Brazilian netted just 19 goals in 2005-06 in all club competitions – only four since Christmas – and disappointed in the World Cup for the Selecao.
It’s claimed in today’s ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ newspaper that Adriano will be benched for tonight’s Trofeo Pirelli clash with Mallorca, a sign that he is no longer guaranteed a first team spot.
Manchester United and Real Madrid have maintained their interest in the former Parma and Fiorentina hitman, who could bring in as much as £30m.
Another option would be £10m cash from Real plus the return to San Siro of Ronaldo, who is also a target for Milan.
Agent Gilmar Rinaldi has flown to Spain with the Inter team and it’s claimed this is so he can get the ball moving for a transfer.
“I spoke to the Inter directors. Everything is fine,” he was quoted as saying in ‘La Stampa’.
