Default Seba out for 4 weeks ...

Quote:
ROME, Feb 14 (Reuters) - Inter Milan's Juan Sebastian Veron will miss next week's Champions League first knockout round match against Ajax Amsterdam due to an ankle injury, the Serie A club said on their website.
The Argentina midfielder, who limped off during the first half of Sunday's 2-1 defeat by Juventus, is expected to be out of action for three weeks.
Veron will miss Serie A matches against Livorno, Udinese and AS Roma but should be fit to play in the return leg against Ajax on March 14.In his absence, Inter coach Roberto Mancini can call on David Pizarro or Cristiano Zanetti to fill the hole.

I'm more concerned with the league clashes then the Ajax one to be honest. This is probably one of the most trying pieces of our schedule. Also, unlike the article, I hope Mancio goes for Deki in the centre with maybe Kily or Cesar on the left.

I disagree with you. Finishing second is overrated. As long as we finish in the top four is all that matters, so at this stage the Ajax match is the most important on the agenda.

The club is cursed, I'm convinced now.

attribution bias, attributing your wins to internal factors ie: skill and your losses to external factors ie: bad luck. nice double standard.

Did we have good luck or bad luck on Sunday? Del Piero scoring, and Recoba hitting the post? Is that good luck or bad luck? Smart ass.

del piero's shot was a nice free kick, and seeing as he has done it numerous times this season and throughout his career, it wasn't luck. as for recoba, buffon got a finger tip on it, enough to cause it to bounce outward from the inside post instead of inward. smart ass.

You see it one way, I see it another way. And how did Del Piero get that free kick?

As you can see, we can go, and on , and on.

Pointless to talk about, and I RESENT that you brought this into this thread. Not the place or the thread for it.

i was merely pointing out your bias. btw, del piero got that free kick off a nedved foul.
anways, juve are without zambrotta as well, both of our clubs r missing crucial players for the 1st leg of the CL.

Veron is more important to Inter, than Zambrotta to Juve.

And in regards to the Nedved foul, that is where my problem lies. It wasn't one.

well seeing as he didn't make any contact with the ball and instead made contact with the player, thats a foul. and considering the free kicks u got outside of our box, i wouldn't talk, only difference is, u failed to score.

only because he is a midfielder. i still think zambrotta is crucial as his hard work down the flanks creates alot more oppurtunities for juve.

Of course that's why, and not too mention we have no one that can run our offense. Its a huge blow. We will be hard pressed to win, I'm actually predicting a lose in the first game. Big bloody nightmare.

In regards to the foul, we know how each other feel about it, lets just agree to disagree. You capitalised, congrats.

Agree to disagree is one thing. Blatantly not accepting you are wrong, when video evidence tells a story to the contrary - is another.
..and that goes for everything, Recoba's freekick helped onto the post by Buffon, Nedved being obstructed (we can agree there was contact! It wasn't a 'Pires' or 'Reyes')..but anyway, you're right; it shouldn't be discussed here.

I'm surprised you're not taking this news (Veron) as badly as I would have expected.

..and the Burdisso miss. You see it one way, I see it another way. That Nedved foul was NOT blatant enough or enough to make him fall like that. Nedved knew what he was doing, he is a master at falling on his face.
