^Shame. I made sure I worked in the morning today so I didn't miss this game.

I hope we don't play as poorly as we did against AC Milan earlier in the season. Obviously the Super-Swede is going to be key in the result, hopefully the goal against Parma means he now goes on goal-run.

HT: Been a good game so far. No bitching about the freekick, Paparesta had that arm up for an eternity..and Buffon knew it from the off - "Due tocce."
Looks like a 1-0 to me. Which way is anyone's guess, it's been fairly equal - Juve having the best of the first 20 minutes and Inter having the latter stages.

2-1 fulltime and we deserved every bit of that. Zlatan was an absolute bitch all night for the Inter defence and they just couldn't handle him. He tore past Cordoba and Samuel to fire our first in and was put out of commission by the latter in a petty act of childishness.

To be honest, Samuel shouldn't've been on the pitch to score Inter's goal and I was fuming when that **** reeled away in celebration.
Del Piero really is back to his best, I was telling my brother that I thought our capitano was relishing this tie on the bench and wasn't he just - steering home the winner, inch perfectly into that top corner.

There's no denying it Interisti, we were better tonight - even Recoba's freekick which I thought was destined to tie the game; I initially thought the woodwork had saved us, but Buffon in fact had it covered I was surprised to find, just watch the replay and see. Great stuff.

Why does Zlatan play so well against his self-confessed 'favourite' club, before he came to Juventus that is..

I'm over the moon. I agree with everything you say Muscolino. I said to my mate that Alex would score when he came on. The freekick was genius, watch it again he waits until César steps to his right and then he hits it to the (GK) left, giving César no chance.

Just heard Mancini and Figo's comments. Fucking ridiculous. No-one can argue we deserved anything but 3pts tonight. That has seriously riled me.

JUVE, JUVE, o cara squadra senza età...
JUVE, JUVE, cara gloriosa società.... / i dont remember any more from the song /
Were we that good or inter that bad, who cares the victory is ours and all critics must shut up. It's not a coincidence that that part of the goal where del piero curved the ball is named after him. It's true that i dont see the offside agter adriano's free kick but who cares thatway is more painful for the interisti now it's werder's turn...

What offside, every goal was fair and square. Even Mancini's claims of a dive were bull, Cordoba didn't play the ball and hindered Nedved - what's so hard to understand about that? They can moan of nothing.
If anything we should because Mancini's side can't accept the loss and are forced to lash out and start on-the-pitch scuffles, consider it payback for the Supercoppa we should have in our cabinet.
I was very amicable after this match, but the Inter camp comments have really upset what should've been a humble loss for the Nerazzurri, who like Juve played their hearts out in a very entertaining and well arbitrated match.

First of all Adriano's goal was disallowed, not because someone was offside, but because it was supposed to be an indirect free kick and Adriano shot a direct free kick which is illegal, well thats how I understood from the commentators, so before any interiste claims thatthey were robbed, they should know that both the ref and linesman disallowed the goal immediately point out that fact, even Capello knew it wasnt a goal when Adriano kicked it.

Thuram and Cannavaro were awesome, especially the french defender who really gave Adriano a tough time, not bad for a player who everyone thought was finished 2 years ago.

As for the game itself, I can say I am very proud of Juve, tonight they went to San Siro and not only did we win, but Alessandro Del Piero scored a beauty.

By the way, if im not mistaken, Inter had 0 italian players on the field while Juve had Del Piero, Blasi, Chiellini(great game), Balzaretti, Cannavaro, Buffon,Camoranesi(in some ways). I am happy our team not only won this game, but they represented an italian champion team with italian players, like it was meant to be when Serie A was created.

im estatic!!!!!!!! just got back from a game myself, i caught the last 15 min of the 2nd half and have watched some highlights. firstly, the game was fucking intense, dirty tackles from both teams, im suprised there were'nt a couple of reds given. secondly, Del Piero, im lost for words, once again u proove your worth and keep all your critics qiuet. Also, the fact that the juve ultras, vikings to be exact, we right behind the net makes it even sweeter in my eyes. (btw, the look on mancini's face gave me much pleasure, suck on that asshole!). Thridly, buffon made a fucking super save in extra time, good to c he is back! Fourthly, ibra's contract extension is around the corner, fantastic game.
i'd like to give some post match comments which are typical of whining interista:
Quote:
“After the equaliser we tried to pour forward and get all three points, but Alessandro Del Piero scored a great goal. Having said that, Nedved is a diver. He always throws himself on the ground and the referees fall for it. This is not up for debate, it was a simulation and he must earn about 10 free kicks per game like that.”
yes he is, as is every other player in seria a. but his "dive" didn't win us the game if thats what your implying.
Quote:
"Juventus earned this victory, there’s no doubting it.”
thank you stankovic
Quote:
“This is an absolute scandal,” slammed the ex-Real Madrid man. “The whole world must see what happened today.”
If by scandal u mean how samuel wasn't sent off, only later to tie the match and keep you in the game, than by all means, u r right. if you are trying to demerit our win, go fuck yourself u has been piece of shit, we beat u fair and square cock sucker. the better squad won the game.

and lastly, i would like to throw out a big fuck u to any inter fan who tries to cast a shadow on this game, we won fair and square, disprooving your theory that juve need refs to be scudetto champions.

Proof that Adriano's free kick was supposed to be an inderect free kick, look at the ref's arm before the free kick

Juve earned it, but I guess Inter supporters (not all like Stankovic) cry and whine and always use "the ref cheated us". Its funny that whenever the decisions are in our favor, its always "the ref robbed us". More proof than that, you cant ask for it.

the circumstances surrounding this game, mostly whinning inter management, and the scudetto implications make this win fucking huge!!! the feelings i have now is comparable to the one i had last season after we beat milan. and juve4life, i doubt any inter fan will be as bold as to say the ref won us the game, clearly not the case (more reason y im happy, we beat u fairly and prooved we r better). btw, juventini have every right to be cocky after this win, considering the bullshit we had to put up with last week from hypocritical inter management.

There's no excuses for this one. Every year a team plays its most pivotal game, and just so happens that inter always lose it.

nedved did fall easily however, if cordoba wasn't hacking him on the left wing previously , that call might not have been made. Cordoba I must say did not play his best game, as the pressure got to him.

All the strikers played like shit aside from recoba who should have been in the game long before.
Adriano and martins must be disciplined and positioned if they are to co-exist. Adriano is playing wherever the fuck he wants, and its starting to show how inter made him a star before he became one.

Juventino's can exchange flattering posts about ignorant, and hypocritical magement and fans, but what do you expect the excuse is going to be from a team that fucks up, the only thing they do consistently.

There were bad calls for both teams but at the end of the day juve scored more goals than inter. I admit defeat.
