Our first half was brutal. Wome on the left mid?

I think pizzaro and veron played well together. In the first half they couldn't really combine in attack, but when cambiasso came they were good as he allowed them to create.. Figo great as usual, did a lot of work tonight.

I would also like to add that i am insulted that materazzi wore the captains band. seeing him cluch his face when he wasn't hit, showed dishonor.

everyone does that.
Although if Materazzi was my captain i'd be worried, that said he can't be much worse than Recoba!

true everyone does that, but i personally disrespect any player who does it. Maybe in rome that is acceptable. jk

I was honoured to see chino captain Inter. Despite not performing to his potential, he has served the club for a long time and has helped us win a lot of games. Namely the samp game last year. He can also play like 3 positions, which shows he has leadership qualities.

I don't agree we were horrific for 75minutes, its not like Porto really did anything either. A lose to them would of been tragic. I do agree though, that we need more one touch passing to feed our fast forwards.

Mancini made the right moves at half time.

Cordoba was injured, hence the captain going to Materazzi, the most senior member of the sqaud on the starting eleven. I personally think it was a good choice.

Two things worry me, Adriano is not himself. He has self doubt, when he shouldn't.

We need another DM option, we can't always rely on Cambiasso, if Zanetti is not ready, but we'll have to wait for January.

Maybe Dacourt of Roma??

Figo played alright. I'm not really sure what we expect from him. He was getting his crosses in, but he was off today. I still think he's adjusting to the club.

Veron was alright today, I put the blame mostly on the strikers, they were getting serviced, but no finish.

Quick passes I do agree with, I like to see more of them.

Cesar and the defense was acceptable, and it was nice to see Burdisso step in, and prove his worth.

Considering the team that came out for Inter wasn't close to full strength, this was a good result.

Haha! No wonder you Interisti ignored my probing..
Adriano's playing like sh!t because he is depressed! His girlfriend dumped him. Oh my God, how it shows. Poor guy..you can tell he's the kind of person to let that sort of thing get to him. The gentle giant...no matter what management says, I know this for sure - it's EXACTLY the kind of thing I expected it to be..what puzzles me most though, is when his Dad passed away; his form was arguably the best he's ever had in calcio, but then Mancio over-played him and he fizzled out.
Oh well, he'll get over it..as Mancio said the other day (totally irrelevant to the article by the way, but now makes perfect sense) - he is a good-looking chap, he'll be fine.

That comment now does make a lot more sense!
Why did she dump him?

No idea, I was hoping Jager, luigi or ParmaKing would fill in the blanks.
..but they're either as clueless as I am or even more so.

Haha, I didn't know about him getting dumped, but like what the hell? He works in Italy, and is from Brazil, two of the best countries to get hot looking ladies. I'm sure he'll remedy that situation very soon.

In his defense, I thought he was in some sort of pain yesterday. Mancini keeps on insisting even injured, Adriano is a good option, because all the attention he gets. I'm not sure I agree with his way of thinking.

It's an emotional problem, Jager. He jogs instead of running, he has sadness evident in his face, everything he did against Porto was half-hearted. He's not been the same..

If we win, and he doesn't score, then I don't care really. If he doesn't score, and we lose, then I care a lot.

If he has a great season in the second half and WC, I think the club should sell him to Real or Chelsea for a nice profit, cut our loses.

I've stated this numerous times, strikers are overratted and they demand way too much money. Strikers are easily replaced in Italy, good qaulity world class defenders are in short supply though.

Side note, I would take a 25 year old Super Pippo, than have him at the moment. I would rather have a consistent scorer, rather one that goes on hot streaks.

I don't know. The more he doesn't perform, the more the minority grows. I want Adriano to perform, but I want the team to win more importantly, not too mention all the crap that the club goes through with the Brazilian football federation.
