I hope he joins too, but I think its 50-50. He has always stated that he wants to come back to Italy. Roma was his first choice though.
I think Davids could fill a hole, as with C. Zanetti, that would solve are DM woes.

From what I heard, Barca has an option on him before others clubs are able to sign him, I could be wrong tough.
I also read that Milan is interested in signing him too, I wouldn't mind having him at Milan, he could rotate with everyone on our midfield

Moratti said that Inter will either go for Veron or Davids and not both... which makes sense as we are already loaded in midfield, although these 2 are different types of players.
For creativity's sake I'd opt for Veron, for bite and dynamism it's Davids all the way.

Carvalho in, Emre out
Inter are close to capturing the signature of Porto’s Ricardo Carvalho, while they could wave goodbye to Emre.
The 26-year-old has been tracked for the last three months and a deal for the defender may be on the horizon.
Need help on defence, I welcome him if he's motivated.
Losing Emre would be sad, but depending who we sign, his time at INTER is coming to an end.

Madrid are after Carvalho as well, as were Valencia, but with Benitez set to move to Liverpool it's likely we'll make a move for him now instead.

Carvalho eyes Inter switch
Quote:
Porto defender Ricardo Carvalho has admitted that he would be keen on a summer move to Inter.
The stopper has been heavily linked and the Champions’ League winner is pleased with the reports.
"To know that a club like Internazionale are looking at me is obviously pleasing," said the international.
"But I have to be honest and I have not spoken to any Inter officials because my contract with Porto expires in 2007.
"My agent Jorge Mendes deals with these types of things. Today I’m honoured to wear the shirt which I do but anything can happen in football."
The San Siro club have hinted that the Portuguese star is a target but a move may be problematic.
"He’s quite expensive," explained transfer chief Marco Branca. "When you buy a player you need to consider not only the cost of the transfer fee but also his wages."
Inter are looking for a new central defender after missing out on Jaap Stam, who joined Milan from Lazio, and Lucio following his move to Bayern Munich.

I have to agree, one very good season, and he is very expensive at the moment.

INTER reject a 30million bid from Chelsea....
Quote:
It is also reported that Inter rejected an eye-popping Chelsea bid for Brazilian hitman Adriano earlier this month.
Newspapers in Italy suggest that patron Roman Abramovich offered Hernan Crespo plus £30m for the 22-year-old, but any approach was rejected outright.
|
Thank God....::weird::
That could be unforgiveable.

Good for them.Inter shouldn't have let Adriano go in the first place.Adriano cost Inter 20 million euros to buy him back from Parma and that's even half price. But I think it's worth it to let him develope at Parma.Next Ronaldo beckoning.

Agreed, but do you think we should shell out that much for him now?
We've added Favalli, why not strengthen further by adding Ferrari?

Sorry lads!
Real Madrid to beat Inter Milan, Chelsea for Carvalho!
Real Madrid are set to trump Inter Milan and Chelsea for Porto defender Ricardo Carvalho.
The Portugal international has emerged as Real coach Jose Antonio Camacho's top target to play alongside Walter Samuel in defence next season.
Inter believed they had agreed a deal for Carvalho a fortnight ago, but interest from Chelsea bumped up Porto's asking price.
Real are now in the mix and are prepared to pay £12 million for the stopper, according to AS sources.

If Chelski want him they will have him.
But Madrid would be his best option. Imagine Carvalho and Samuel!!!!!!!
