Kompany will be a good buy for the future but he's not ready for Serie A football just yet.

Default Dede talking with Inter

Borussia Dortmund's Brazilian defender Dede is in talks with Internazionale.
The Samba star has been offered a new deal by German side Dortmund, but he has so far failed to commit and is being eyed by other sides.

Internazionale coach Alberto Zaccheroni is looking to reshape his squad and it would appear as if he has highlighted Dede as a possible recruit.

Dede hinted in April that he was likely to sign an extension with Dortmund, but it would appear as if he is tempted by the prospect of testing his skills in Serie A.

"Borussia proposed me a contract extension until 2008, but I'm negotiating with Inter too," said the 26-year-old. "I'd like to stay in Germany but I'm also interested by a possible Italian experience too."

Dortmund coach Matthias Sammer has stressed that he wants to keep Dede and he is likely to urge his board to pull out all the stops to keep the Brazilian on their books.

Would Dede be a good signing?

If he can defend, then yes..if he is just good on the offensive side of things, then we don't need him at this time, as we have more pressing issues.

My first choice, continues to be Ferrarri of Parma.

Default Mancini wanted at Inter

Inter are considering sacking Alberto Zaccheroni and replacing him with Lazio boss Roberto Mancini.

That is according to the Italian media on Friday who are predicting another summer revolution at the San Siro.

Inter President Giacinto Facchetti insisted that Zac would remain after he made sure that the club qualified for the Champions’ League.

However, whispers circulating around Milan allege that owner Massimo Moratti has other ideas for next season.

Moratti has always been a massive fan of Mancini and he has reportedly already contacted the Sampdoria legend.

Mancio is believed to have been given guarantees that he would be able to bring with him his current Coaching team.

Inter’s transfer policy also suggests that Mancini could be in charge of the side for the 2004/05 campaign.

Lazio captain Giuseppe Favalli is set to sign on a free transfer, while Lazio’s Cesar has also been linked.

The Nerazzurri are also keen on Chelsea midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron – who played alongside the Coach at Lazio.

If Mancini does take over at Moratti’s request, then reports suggest that Facchetti could even hand in his resignation as President.

Inter could also be actually paying three Coaches next season as Hector Cuper and Zaccheroni would still be under contract.

Huh well what do you know now they want him.

Inter can play with two teams in SerieA next season. The bench is very big now, and they need no midfielder.

Has Cambiasso joined Milano, Jager? - This will never end,

Default Nerazzurri pounce for Davids?

There are increasingly strong reports that Edgar Davids will sign for the Nerazzurri early next week.

On Friday evening patron Massimo Moratti had answered questions about their links with Juan Sebastian Veron and Davids, but until now most newspapers believed he was referring to the Chelsea star.

“We have already contacted one of them,” admitted the oil baron, “and our directors are working hard towards achieving our transfer objectives.”

The advantage for the Dutchman is that he would arrive on a free transfer, as his contract with Juventus expires this summer and he does not seem intent on making his loan spell at Barcelona permanent.

Perfect compliment to Stankovic ...IMHO.

Wont happen, Davids is staying at Barca, I'd be really suprised if he left them now.
Veron on the other hand is very likely to join

He is staying? I've heard otherwise, is that an opinion, or have you read that somewhere?

Both actually but it's more an opinion as I have read both that he's staying and leaving
