I haven't heard anything, they could do with another midfielder though.

Default Inter target Schweinsteiger

Inter are reportedly interested in young Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger and have already enquired about the possibility of signing him.

Coach Roberto Mancini is highly attracted to the idea of signing Schweisteiger from Bayern Munich even though this could prove to be a difficult operation.

The German attacking midfielder’s contract expires in 2009, therefore if he does not sign a new deal with his club by this summer, then Inter can try to make their move as Bayern Munich will not want to lose him on a free transfer the following year.

Thus Schweisteiger would be a possible summer transfer for Inter, but so far they have not received any signs on whether the German star will renew his Bayern Munich deal or opt to try a new adventure away from the club.

For the time being Inter will have to wait for new developments, but if the news is positive, they will be in the driver’s seat when the summer arrives.

Valeri enamoured with Inter Monday 7 January, 2008

Argentine youngster Diego Valeri has indicated that he would embrace a move to Inter.

Nerazzurri captain Javier Zanetti has recommended his compatriot to the Beneamata directors as the Italian champions look to increase their midfield options.

Valeri, who is plying his trade with Lanus, is making a splash in Argentina’s Primera División where he has become a key player at the age of just 21.

He has an EU passport and could arrive in January, if Inter can beat Atletico Madrid’s offer of £3m, which was rejected.

“I would like to stay at Lanus, but people are saying that big Italian and Spanish sides are interested in me, especially Inter,” Valeri stated in Olè.

“I’d have to think hard. It wouldn’t just be a question of money, but also of my career - this chance could be a one off.”

It is estimated that the around £5m would be needed to persuade the La Fortaleza outfit to loosen their grip on their prized asset.

Inter Milan coach Mancini keen on Parma's Pisanu
tribalfootball.com - January 22, 2008

Inter Milan are following Parma attacking midfielder Andrea Pisanu.
Roberto Mancini, the Inter coach, has put his name forward to the club's directors as an alternative to Manchester City star Elano, says Controcampo.

Parma rate Pisanu, just turned 26, in the £7 million class and have offered to extend his contract by another two years to 2012.

Inter would use their deep squad to tempt Parma into parting with Pisanu by offering players in part-exchange.

There's been recent reports of Crespo joining Roma this summer?? Crespo's wife is from Rome and they suggest that Crespo would welcome a move to Roma bc he's fallen out with Mancini. Not sure how Roma fans would welcome him?

Good thought, but the "Inter Calciomercato Thread" does the same thing. You can post rumours about transfers there.

Lets see what happens at the Euro's, it's amazing what a good performance at a major international tournament can do for a player.

There was some talk when Inter played Samp, after the game Cassano covered his mouth and talked to Mancini. Some reporters stated that Cassano said "i'll see you next season at inter" or something like that. But, i don't think it's the case...Cassano will stay at Samp and i think Samp are finalizing the transfer from Real on a permanent basis.
