Well it appears to be a good move as he could end up playing in the CL this season.

I think they want him in a deal for Adriano or part of a package for Cassano.

He'd be a good signing.

Apparently Inter are interested in Eboue and are ready to offer £6m for him. I can't see this being true though with Maicon proving to be so good.

Again, an impossible transfer. I can't see Arsenal letting Eboue leave.. Seriously.

Default Not Just Diego In Inter's Sights

The Brazilian player is in pole position, but Moratti has other alternatives ready.

Diego, Lionel Messi, Pato Alexandre, Antonio Cassano, Frank Ribery and Juan Roman Riquelme: these are among the players being followed by Inter for next season. While the Brazilian player of Werder Bremen seems to be in pole position, no road is being kept out by the Inter management who are monitoring a number of big name players.

MESSI - The Argentinean is the one player Moratti would be willing to spend a fortune for. The Barcelona phenomenon has a 150 million euro buyout clause on his contract and if the player would be willing to leave Barça for a new challenge, he might be bought for around half that amount. And Moratti has already sent some clear messages to the player's entourage...

PATO - He impressed at the Club World Championship in Tokio at just over seventeen. He is quite talented and can play as a second striker as well as a playmaker. The Brazilian staff value the player at around 20 million euros, but only half of this amount will end up in their registers because the player is half-"owned" by his father.

ALTERNATIVES - Then there is the option of Juan Roman Riquelme. The Argentine, unhappy under Pellegrini, is on loan at Boca Juniors, but at season's end he should return to Spain because Boca lack the money to buy him. In the past Inter had already asked for informations. Another option is Frank Ribery, star of Olympique Marseille who is also being tracked by Lyon and Real Madrid. Then there is Antonio Cassano who has a very good chance to arrive in Milan, perhaps as a reinforcement for the attack.

Well they have players coming though the ranks and I wouldn't exactly call him their first choice RB at the moment.

I could see him leaving but not to Inter.

We don't need any fullbacks.

Burdisso, Maicon, J.Zanetti and Andreolli can all play at RB.

The fullback position is not a pace of concern for us. We will go to South America again, if we need one.

Cordoba can play RB as well.

It's just stupid speculation.

Metzelder is a good defender.. Sad to see another quality player leaving Bundesliga, another german leaving BL. Germany players rarely moved outside. Now, everyone's going. There we have Ballack, Lehmann, Hinkel, Huth, Odonkor, Hamann, now Metzelder, Hilderbrand possibly, Klose possibly. Damn.

That would be a good move. Unless the player is young, I don't think we need to spend big on more midfield help.

A player like this would be helpful.
