Buying tavano and loaning him out would be useless. Either get him or not, he himself would not be keen on a loan-out. If he wants to play for inter let him.

Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a £10million bid to end Ruud van Nistelrooy's Manchester United nightmare this summer.

The Dutchman has fallen firmly out of favour with United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who often preferred Louis Saha to him last season and angered the Holland hot-shot by playing youngster Giuseppe Rossi ahead of him for the last game of the campaign against Charlton.

Ferguson has shown in the past that he is not afraid to offload big-name players, showing Jaap Stam, Paul Ince and David Beckham the Old Trafford door when they fell out with the fiery Scotsman.

And it seems Inter, who captured Ince from United, are keen to recruit van Nistelrooy's services, with their top striker Adriano possibly on the way out of the San Siro to join Real Madrid.

Reports in Italy's Gazzetta Dello Sport, however, suggest Massimo Moratti's targets lie elsewhere - with Juventus ace David Trezeguet and Fiorentina ace Luca Toni attracting his attention.

Trezeguet has been linked with a move away from Juve for a while, and Toni is one of the hottest striking properties in Europe after finishing top scorer in Serie A this term.

I think many inter fans would take well to signing Van Nistelrooy.

This striker situation is up in the air. It is becoming too confusing, and the media isn't really helping it. Every striker mentioned would be built up to the task, but the likelihood of trezeguet coming is bullshit.

Luca Toni is a bastard if he leaves. Its only fo for the money. He left palermo, dominated at fiorentina, which earned themselves a CL qual. If he is not happy there, he is an asshole.

RVN would strengthen their squad, and improve their scudetto chances...........just like every other big name player u have bought.

inter are better off putting their resources at work to help relegate juve. Much better chance they will win the scudetto than.

Buying RVN makes sense from every possible angle, I hope it goes through to be honest.

Inter desperately need a striker. Martins isn't good enough in my opinion and you never know what you're going to get with Adriano and Recoba. Cruz is the only consistent striker you have at the moment.

Recoba's as good as gone. Martins still very much worth keeping.

I'm expecting two strikers. That is, if Adriano and recoba leave.

It will depend on how much Adriano is worth after the WC.

Our main problem this year was finishing witout a doubt. RVN can finish, we all know that, this makes a lot of sense, and this rumour is very much true from what I gather.

Inter could sign Valencia-owned midfielder Stefano Fiore by the end of this week, reports in Italy are suggesting.

The Italian international, who missed out on a place in the Azzurri’s World Cup squad, is available after Fiorentina rejected the chance to net him.

Although the playmaker was keen to continue his Viola career after a highly positive loan season, the club have decided against signing him on a permanent basis.

That snub has allowed the Nerazzurri to jump to the front of the queue for the versatile midfielder.

Fiore has no desire to return to Spain after an unhappy debut season in La Liga and would be happy to join Inter.

After all, he would be welcomed with open arms by boss Roberto Mancini who tutored him while he was Lazio Coach.

It’s understood that Fiore will imminently hold talks with Valencia sporting director Amedeo Carboni in a bid to quickly resolve his future.

The Spanish giants are understood to be willing to sacrifice Fiore for as little as £2m, a figure which Fiorentina surprisingly didn’t attempt to match. ( )
