He won't go to England because his wife doesn't like it there, and she's close to her own country which is Swissterland.

She is also a model, and Milan is the "mecca' of modeling.

Default Trabelsi has Inter medical!

http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...ia/apr12f.html

Quote:
Hatem Trabelsi is on the verge of becoming an Inter player after the Ajax full-back reportedly passed a medical with the Italian club.

Trabelsi has been linked with a host of top European outfits after making it clear that he would be leaving Holland once his contract expires in the summer.

Now whispers in the peninsula on Wednesday suggest that Inter are in pole position to land the Tunisian international.

Trabelsi, who has played 32 times for Ajax this term after recovering from injury, was believed to have been in Milan on Tuesday.

Inter haven’t signed him yet though as they still have to resolve a few issues regarding his non EU status.

However, sources close to the club are confident that the problems with be ironed out and Trabelsi will wear the Nerazzurri shirt next term.

Inter have already bought two defensive players ahead of the new campaign in the form of Brazilian reinforcements Maxwell and Maicon.

Maxwell is an attacking wing-back who joined Empoli in January from Ajax with the help of the Milan giants.

Maicon, meanwhile, is currently plying his trade in Ligue 1 with Francesco Guidolin’s Monaco outfit.

This is the first player I would pick for when Javier retires. He is a rock, and was one of the better player against us on ajax.

This might mean that maicon isn't in the plans.

Well, they might loan Maicon out??

Very interesting developments to say the least if he really does sign.

this is sort of not that relevant but why give him a medical now? He could break his leg tomorrow, whilst not under Inter's charge until the summer.

Medicals are bullsit anyway, but i think they do them for other reasons than conditions that could heal.

http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Squadr.../favalli.shtml

Favalli to Milan in the summer, and i ask why the hell would Milan want Favalli?

They should strenght they squad with new and younger blood in the defence than Favalli.

How is the relationship with the two Milano clubs? Many players have went from Inter to Milan and the other way around the last years. This is unlikely with many other great teams in the same city.

And one more question to the Inter/Milan fans. I'm interested in big derbies, so I must ask.

Is Internazionale the "finer" club in Milano? While AC Milan is more "working class"?

I heard on the radio once long time ago that Inter were the "finer" or "high class" club, but I don't trust the people which said that.

There was a time where the educated and affluent supported Inter, and the working class supported Milan, however now the lines are skewed and mixed.

In other words, it is pretty much mixed.

However both Curvas are controlled by a right wing movement.

In terms of Favalli. I see this as simply Milan adding depth cheaply. Nothing more, nothing less.

Favalli was probably told that he would fall farther down the depth charts with Maxwell and Macion joining, and possibly Grosso also..I can hope!
