I respect pizzaro's wanting to leave, but he is a great player. Roma will be deadly with him, for the main reson it will take pressure off of totti. Inter should sell him to another market.

As far as replacements go, I like ledesma as he is also defensive minded. Simplicio is a great playmaker and would be the best choice. Almiron is ok, a little bit soft from what I have seen though.

Have you seen Veron play of late? He is incredible, and is close to the top of the league in assists.

I wish Pizarro the best, the loan deal is a good idea. Him at Roma??

He's been unfortunate due to the form of Veron so I can understand why he'd want to leave. I just think that maybe Inter should have given him more of a chance this season because he's a class player.

Default Inter look to Lucho Gonzalez

http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...ia/mar25f.html

Quote:
The Portuguese Press claims this morning that Inter are showing an interest in Porto midfielder Lucho Gonzalez.

Newspaper A Bola suggests that several Nerazzurri scouts have already been to Oporto to view the player and returned with glowing reviews.

It’s also reported that Coach Roberto Mancini is pushing for this transfer to be pursued in a bid to strengthen his options in the middle of the park.

Lucho Gonzalez came to their attention when he starred in Porto’s 2-0 victory over Inter in the Champions League group phase back in October, 2005.

He is a 25-year-old Argentina international who scored in his debut, a 3-1 friendly win over Honduras in January 2003, and took a key role in both their 2004 Copa America and Olympic campaigns.

Gonzalez joined Porto from River Plate in April, 2005, and can play either in front of the defence or as a right-winger.

Inter currently have eight Argentines in their 31-man squad and eight Italians.

The only player that I would take from porto is quaresma. I think he can play well in Italy. Right now there is no back up for Figo and I think Inter should consider a move for a right side attacker because Luis only has one more year.

Veron is staying one more year.

This club is getting a proven striker in the Summer.

Figo won't go to england, he doesn't have the legs. He will retire at inter, unless he moves to his homeland to finish off.
