Default Dalmat set for Racing

http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...lia/jul7g.html

Spanish outfit Racing Santander are close to signing Inter flop Stephane Dalmat this summer.

Dalmat is believed to have agreed a four-year deal with the side, who finished 16th in La Liga last season, after visiting the club’s training facilities last month.

The former Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille winger, 26, is currently contracted to Serie A outfit Inter until 2006.

However, the Frenchman is set for a move - possibly on a free transfer - after failing to impose himself in the Nerazzurri side.

Dalmat, an international midfielder, has spent the last two seasons on loan at Tottenham and Toulouse respectively.

Default Real Madrid Defender Set for Inter Milan Discussions

Inter Milan are set to discuss a possible deal for Real Madrid defender Walter Samuel next week. Inter are also intrested in Christian Chivu but that move may not be possible due to the blocking of Roma dealings.

"The decision (to block Roma transfer dealings) complicates transfer matters," Moratti stated.

"We continue having contacts with Roma and Real.

"For Samuel, we see if we are able to find money: there will be talks with Real next week

Please, let it be Samuel. He's the perfect age to guide Inter into the future.

What a back line?!?!!?!

J.Zanetti, Cordoba, Samuel, Wome ....with Matrix, Sinsi,Favalli,Burdisso(when he returns) on the bench.

Default Inter ponder Malouda move

http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...lia/nov2h.html

Quote:
Inter owner Massimo Moratti is reported to be interested in signing Lyon midfielder Florent Malouda.

Malouda, who is enjoying another exceptional season with Lyon, is nearing the end of his contract and, although he is mulling over a contract extension that will tie him to the French champions until 2010, the fleet-footed Frenchman is weighing up his options.

The Guyanese-born 25-year-old, who can play left midfield or up front, is said to have caught the interest of Moratti and technical director Marco Branca is thought to be planning an approach for the 25-year-old.

Should Inter make a winter bid, this could well rule them out of the running for Roma’s out-of-favour forward Antonio Cassano.

Cassano would prefer a move to the club he supported as a boy but with Inter suffering from dressing-room discontent it is unlikely that they will want to risk adding another controversial character into their already-colourful mix of players.

The Bari-born striker is looking increasingly likely to end up at Juventus, where Fabio Capello can call upon his experience of having already brought the best out him at Roma.

Interesting, I was thinking about this guy last week, while we were losing to Roma. It might make sense seeing how I'm not sold on Pizarro, and Veron won't be here forever. He can play any where from what I've heard.

This guy is best on the left. We are still weak on the left, so if veron leaves stankovic can move to the center which he is much better at. Although i still strongly believe in pizzaro.

Truthfully i am interested in this signing, and more optimistic about it than cassano

He looks like a decent player from what I've seen of him.

Stankovic must go in the middle.

I can't put too much into this, as I was certain we were going to get Luisaio, but we did get Samuel instead.

Default Inter ponder Ze Roberto swoop

http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...lia/nov9b.html

Quote:
Inter are lining up a bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Ze Roberto, according to reports in Italy.

The former Real Madrid man is out of contract in the summer and the Nerazzurri, who have got off to a disappointing start this season, are already looking – not for the first time – to cure their problems by delving into the transfer market.

The Milan-based club were interested in acquiring the services of the 31-year-old in the summer but opted instead to buy Luis Figo and Santiago Solari from Real Madrid.

Although Figo has impressed, the former Portugal skipper has played more regularly on the right flank this term, while neither Solari or Pierre Wome have performed well during the injury-enforced absence of Dejan Stankovic. Kily Gonzalez, meanwhile, appears destined for a return to his homeland.

Ze Roberto has enjoyed mixed fortunes at Bayern, whom he helped win the German League and Cup double in 2003-04, but then only represented sporadically last season.

This year, though, the left-footed winger appears to be back in favour with Felix Magath, who has played him regularly in the Bundesliga and in every Champions League match so far this term.

However, with his contract running out and Bayern operating a new strict wage policy these days, the Brazilian has been offered a 30 per cent reduction in his current deal.

Inter, meanwhile, are said to be prepared to offer the South American a two-year contract worth £1m a season, with the option to extend the deal for a further year.

Ze Roberto - Stankovic - Cambiasso - Figo ??
