middlesborough/newcastle would do great to get him.

but would be a decent signing for betis, villareal, udinese.

everton have simon davies and kilbane...obviously amdy is better than them.

Default Makinwa intrigued by Inter

Atalanta revelation Stephen Makinwa has urged Inter to make their move for his services, while the Nerazzurri are also interested in Mauro Esposito.

“Inter and Palermo are both prestigious clubs,” said the young Nigerian striker. “I would prefer to challenge for an important trophy, such as the Scudetto or Champions’ League. If it were up to me, my future would already be assured with the Nerazzurri. I’m waiting for their call.”

Makinwa is owned by Genoa, but spent the last six months of the season on loan at Atalanta, where he scored six goals and almost succeeded in saving them from relegation. He is a good friend of fellow countryman Obafemi Martins and could forge an impressive partnership.

Meanwhile, Inter are also tracking Italian international Mauro Esposito. The Cagliari forward is already a target for Palermo, Fiorentina and French giants Monaco, but patron Massimo Moratti has reportedly offered goalkeeper Fabian Carini as part of the deal.

WTF.. let Carini be your first goalkeeper and sell the ****ing Toldo!

Class when I've seen him, that being said it isn't hard to look agood against a poor Parma side or a really terrible Palermo side, or Atlanta. Anyways, I'd have him RW, but he wouldn't come I'd presume. Unless Emre is friends with him and we can knab them both.

Default Zanetti calls in Samuel

Inter captain Javier Zanetti has urged Real Madrid stopper Walter Samuel to join him at the San Siro.

The former Roma defender (pictured) is a summer transfer target for the Nerazzurri even if reports suggest he is keen to stay at Real.

"I often talk to him about joining us," Zanetti, who is on international duty with Samuel at the moment, told the Tuttosport newspaper.

"I’m certain that he would do very well at Inter. I understand that he wants to prove himself in Spain but this Inter side is ready to surprise everyone.

"Walter is a central defender of great stature and he would complete a defence which is already very strong."

The Milan giants are looking for a new stopper and the outfit have admitted that the South American is an objective.

Whispers suggest that preliminary negotiations between the two clubs have already taken place.

There are even unconfirmed stories that suggest a deal could be wrapped up over the next seven days.

However, it is unclear whether the player will arrive on loan or whether he will be bought immediately.

Should Samuel be signed, Inter are expected to sell Marco Materazzi after Genoa were paired with the Italian international.

I think he's not good enough to hold down a regular first team place at Inter, and we have enough strikers, despite the fact, that everythnig can happen, I don't think he'd be a good signing...he's SIMILAR to Oba but he'd NEVER be better than Martins....

Why will we sell Matrix???When he was suspended or injured everybody wanted him to play....he's a worldclass defender with Cordoba in the middle, he's tall and heads goals....an almost perfect sweeper....

materazzi is too slow. in most of the draws, in the beginning of the season Materazzi had personal mistakes. I agree that he is great when it comes to heading but he can only be a good substitute. signing samuel is a good step to build a winning team for Inter. He has enough Serie A experience and quality.

Inter will become the Argentine national team in near future

and what if the FIFA makes a limitation of the non-EU players in 5 years time???We'll see out of our heads what to do with so many South American ones... :wallbang: (I love the Brazilians and the other surrounding nations, not to misunderstand this reply )
Plus, Materazzi is Italian, a "home player", and the "law" would prefer players in the same nation as the team's one is....

We already have another Nigerian in our ranks, who should be with the club in a year or two.

Bashing Matrix is very common now. Near the end, Matrix was playing solid. We let in the fewest goals from January onward. He is not great, but not as bad as you all make him out to be.

For example, he certainly was playing better than Thuram in Juventus near the end.

Default Fener deny Davids intent

Turkish giants Fenerbahce have moved to deny speculation that has linked them to Edgar Davids.

The tenacious Dutch midfielder has struggled to make any real impression since arriving at Internazionale and is looking to seek pastures new this summer.

Tentative interest from The Premiership has been mooted with regards to the former Barcelona and Juventus favourite, but for Fenerbahce it seems the tough tackler is not a target.

''Edgar Davids is not a player we've been interested in and is not a player we are considering,'' read a statement on the club's official website.

The Turkish champions have also dismissed reports that have linked them with approaches for Messina's Nicola Amoruso and Mexican Carlos Salcido.

''An article suggested there is an 80 percent chance that Nicola Amoruso will go to Fenerbahce,'' said Fener coach Christoph Daum.

''Of course Amoruso could go to the Fenerbahce area, where he can dine in the restaurants and cafes - sipping Turkish coffee.

''In conclusion though, the articles are false.''

Huh, they're interesting pieces, even the last ones...Davids can go anywhere, I don't care where but he shuold go out of Milan...he hasn't played well enough to hold down a regular first team place...we have Cambiasso and Cristiano Zanetti.....they're enough...(I suppose)
