Default Zanetti agent in Real date

Javier Zanetti could be on his way to Real Madrid after revelations that his agent Jorge Oliva met officials at the Bernabeu on Thursday.

Reports in Spain claim that Oliva met Real director of sport Emilio Butragueno for 45 minutes on Thursday afternoon.

It is thought Real were enquiring about the Internazionale star's situation with a view to a move next summer.

The 31-year-old signed a contract extension with Inter last season which ties him to the club until 2007, but his representatives hinted that a move to Spain was a possibility.

When quizzed as to the purpose of their visit to Real, Oliva told Marca: "We came here because I had a pending conversation, and came to greet Butragueno.

"Is there anything regarding Zanetti? Not at the moment, but we'll see what happens in the future."

- Zanetti has played for Inter since 1995 now, and he has been very lojal for the Milano club. Its not impossible that he left Italy, and some sources says that he is not happy in Inter at the moment.
Maybe he wants a new challenge, or maybe he ends his career with the club he loves so mutch, Inter.

Though his form has slipped of late, I can't see him moving any time soon.

I not really sure how he could help Real at the moment?

His defensive capabilities has suffered, not the offensive side of things.

If we get him, Mancini will have extensive weopons at his disposal. We would be strong at every position offensively.

Denying Juve would be the biggest benefit.

I like Zanetti, I think he should stay where he is. No use moving at this stage, especially with the team close to turning the corner.

Inter would really be stupid to sell him and JZ would be very stupid to leave Inter, the club he's been playing for so long and where he's without any doubt the most respected player by the fans, for Real

Well this is certainly a kick in the teeth, the most loyal player of Inter leaving. If they keep drawing games I won't be surprise that Adriano leaves too.

Default Fiore wants Inter

Unsettled Valencia player Stefano Fiore has invited Inter to make a January bid for his services.

The Italian has struggled to adapt to the Spanish game and is reportedly a target for the Nerazzurri.

"I would be a hypocrite if I said that I wouldn’t like to work under boss Roberto Mancini again," Fiore reportedly stated.

"I’ve always done well for him and he’s had faith in me. When a Coach believes in you then you respond with good performances."

Fiore was a key player for Mancini in the Italian capital with Lazio over the last two seasons.

Their difficult financial situation saw him and teammate Bernardo Corradi sold to Valencia in a £13m deal.

But the former Parma and Udinese midfielder has failed to convince Coach Claudio Ranieri of his ability so far.

In other Inter transfer news, whispers suggest that Emre could join Manchester United in a swap deal with Ryan Giggs.

The latter, who chief Massimo Moratti has always liked, has just rejected a one-year extension on his Old Trafford deal.

The San Siro giants are also believed to have signed a 15-year-old Swede being named as the ‘new Zlatan Ibrahimovic’.

Goran Slavkovski is currently with the Malmo youth team but will allegedly join up with the Inter Primavera side next summer.

Sounds like a big step forward for inter in the time to come.

Fiore at Roma, ooh the laziale would LOVE that!
I wouldn't say no though, just we're selling in January, not buying

Default Samuel to INTER??

Quote:
Internazionale are reported to be checking the availability of defender Walter Samuel after his recent spat with Real Madrid fans.

Samuel moved to the Spanish capital from Roma last summer, but has yet to fully convince in La Liga.

The Argentine has been hampered by a persistent knee injury in recent weeks and only returned to the Real starting XI against Albacete last Sunday in a game which Los Merengues won 6-1.

During that match the Argentine was at fault for the visitors' solitary goal and was subsequently jeered by a section of Real's fans.

The 26-year-old atoned for his error by scoring at the right end, but made ironic gestures towards fans after his earlier abuse.

Given the slightly uneasy situation, Inter are understood to have made discreet enquiries to sound out whether Real might be tempted into parting company with Samuel at the end of the season.

It is not the first time that the Nerazzurri have been linked with the stopper, as they wre in the race to sign him when Real concluded a deal last summer.

Roberto Mancini is keen to bolster his defence and a move for Anderlecht's talented teenager Vicent Kompany during the January transfer window has also been mooted.

He could be our leader back there, that we sorely lack.
