... to finish off Jager's opinion,in a few words we have probably if not the best,at least one of the best teams in the world! We just need some more time to prove this!

Vincent Kompany to Inter?
Quote:
Inter Milan chiefs held talks with the agent of Anderlecht defender Vincent Kompany on Thursday.
The teenage stopper is regarded as the brightest defensive talent of his generation and is being lined up by Inter for a January move to the San Siro.
Despite being Cup-tied for the Champions League, Inter supremo Massimo Moratti is determined to sign Kompany ahead of rivals Arsenal, AC Milan and Chelsea.
|
I've heard nothing, but good things about this young lad for over a year or so. Our rescent defensive problems, will no doubt rush management, in addressing the problem in the months ahead.
You can probably add United to the list, as they have been chasing him, since he was 15. Best player in Belgium apparently.

As a United supporter I hope not because I'm still holding out hope that he ends up at Old Trafford but it's not looking good for us ::upset:: but I would rather seem him at Inter than with EPL clubs like Team France or Chelski.

Do United need a CB like INTER?
From what I hear, Chelsea are our main competitors.

That's right, I doubt United will be spending on any big moves, in the off season.

Inter eyeing Macherano
Seen it in Sky sports that the are interested in River midfielder Javier Macherano, why do they need him anyway?? They've already got Davids and Cambiasso...

The big clubs are always trying to build up their lineups, and such. Probably all speculation at this point. INTER's number 1 need is another CB, somebody young to boot.

Inter assess Marek option
Quote:
Inter are looking at Marek Jankulovski of Udinese to resolve their continuing left-sided problem.
Reports in Italy today suggest that the Nerazzurri could make a move to sign the international in January.
The San Siro giants tried to net a wide midfielder in the summer but had no success, after missing out on Cesar of Lazio.
In his absence, boss Roberto Mancini was confident that Francesco Coco and Kily Gonzalez could provide their services.
But the Italian is still not ready for football at this level after serious fitness troubles, while the South American is suffering with ankle trouble.
That has seen Mancio try out Dejan Stankovic, Edgar Davids and Emre on the left but he’s keen on having a real wide-man at his disposal.
Although Cesar remains an option, whispers claim that Jankulovski is now their number one transfer target.
Inter are ready to offer £3m, plus the services of young left-back Giovanni Pasquale, for the Czech.
However, the Nerazzurri will have to deal with competition from Juventus who are also keen on the 27-year-old.
Although Jankulovski recently extended his contract until 2008, Udinese are likely to sell if an adequate bid is tabled.
|
If we could get him for that price, I wouldn't be against it. And to deny Juve, would be even better.
