Aiming to sweep Crew

"El Capitan" belongs to the Dynamo for a second straight season, thanks to the emotional 1-0 win Sunday vs. FC Dallas. Houston now hopes to build on that win with a chance to sweep the season series with the Columbus Crew, Sat., Aug. 25 at 7:30 PM. The last time these two met on June 10, Houston won 2-1. The lone Crew goal came from former Dynamo striker Alejandro Moreno. It was the last goal scored before Houston's 726 min. scoreless streak that lasted through July 22.

Amigo Energy was presented as Houston Dynamo's first jersey sponsor and official retail energy provider. The jersey debuted on Aug. 19 when the Dynamo beat FC Dallas 1-0. The new replica jersey is being produced by adidas and expected hit retail establishments in January 2008. More »
