I don't believe in omens at all.

A match is decided on the pitch, it doesn't really matter what happened in past. One can argue that it affects the sub-conscious of the players, but when you're out there, you don't think about the past, you only think about helping your team win.

With that being said, I'd love if this happened:

You don't think Portugal is reminiscent of the 3-1 loss against the Germans in the WC. That has to be in the back of their minds.

It's all about strategy. Ronaldo has to come up big for us.
