Great 2nd goal by Portugal, really liked that team play, I agree that Ronaldo was good but not magnificent but he did his job well in the 2nd goal, Portugal dominated most of the possesion thanks to Deco and Moutinho, but Petit was invisible, Simao was good aswell, as for the Turks, Nihat and Tuncay were...crap, apart from, Gokhan, Servet and Hamit(why the hell was he subed off???), Too bad Halil wasnt selected, he would have made a difference.

I thought Deco was Ok, I expected more form him, and he made some turnovers....
Our back four is incredible, despite Ferreira shitty performance.

im proud of this performance, usually we get better as the tournament drags on so I would say this is a good sign.
I expect Portugal to beat czech and easily qualify to the 2nd stage now.

Great game of football and a great performance.
We completely dominated this match, Turkey never tried to attack, simply defended and looked to hit us on counterattacks, but the defence was really solid. Carvalho was flawless as usual, Bosingwa was superb running down the right side, Ferreira was solid and Pepe was great. Super man is back!
The midfield was really good, Petit was clearing everything in front of the defence, Moutinho was great with his running all around the field and was brilliant tactically, and then Deco pulling the strings in midfield, he made some amazing passes.
The attack was good, for the first time in my life, I'll praise Nuno Gomes. I thought he had a good game, still can't score to save his life, but his movement was good and he is really important on those one-two's, one of which lead to Pepe's goal. Simao never got passed Hamit in the first-half and was a bit quiet in the second-half, our most disappointing player I thought.. Ronaldo played well, nothing spectacular about his performance, but did his job. That free-kick would have been a fantastic goal. He continues to be really selfish though, should learn how to pass the ball more often.
Disappointed not to see Quaresma playing.. I'm hoping he gets some playing time against the Czechs.
The second goal was the best for me, great team play and good to see a Porto player scoring, even though I don't really like Meireles.
Great start for us, like Scolari said, 50% of the work is done. Bring on the Czechs!

"Well, that was fun... in a fuckin' terrible, sick, not-at-all-fun way."
Ricardo Quaresma: forever a Porto legend. Thank you for all the memories.

Not the that amazing game but it was nice.
MoM was in my opinion Deco. Everything was build up around him.
The best player on the turkish side was Kazim Kazim. He looks really promising.

Considering how boring Portugal's matches have been for the past 4 years, it was a great game of football.
Kazim Kazim.. the one who did this:

(the swedish press got that picture)

He will probably go unpunished, Surely he did it out of spite.
Btw, The ref should've given a red card for the hard tackle on nani.... that was uncalled for.

That picture doesn't tell much to be honest. I would have liked to see Kazim's face direction.
Judging from that picture, it doesn't look like Kazim Kazim did it on purpose. I doubt he will be punished.
