Apparently, Donadoni will be making wholesale changes AGAIN against France.
Del Piero out Cassano In
Pirlo out Gattuso In
Perotta out Ambrosini In
Camaronesi out Di Natale In
Am I missing something here? I hope to God this is just a rumor, but if we play 3 DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS at the same time we are going to get thrashed.

This is just crazy.Donadoni either is listening to the media alot, and if he was he wouldnt be playing Ambrosini!,or he just loves Milan too much.Get this game over with.Fire Don after the failure of Italy and bring in Lippi again.
Donadoni is a nutcase if he does those changes.
personally i would put in Cassano keep pirlo and de Rossi.Play Aquilani and have a 4-3-3 with cassano and Di natale out wide with Toni in the center of things.Gamberini and Chiellini in the middle too.Ive probably said this a billion times but Don is crazy if he thinks De Rossi can be the Prime play maker.

Gazzetta has it as
Buffon; Zambrotta, Panucci, Chiellini, Grosso; Gattuso, Pirlo, De Rossi; Di Natale, Toni, Cassano
Too little too late.

As a die hard Milan supporter, I have no idea why Pirlo and Gattuso are playing.
They've been horrible all season and are proving to be horrible again in the Euros.

I would drop Gutusso for De Rossi, but keep Pirlo. Maybe change Ambrosini for Perrotta.
Cassano is a good addition. Then bring ADP to replace him.

So you'd keep the lineup the same as against Romania? Thats wgat Donadoni did, dropped Gattuso for De Rossi and Ambrosini for Perotta.

I would keep DDR and Pirlo...as last game. But start Cassano. Camoranesi is hot and cold...i wouldn't be upset if he was dropped.
I like the lineup from Gazzetta...but add either Perrotta or Ambro instead of Gutusso.

No need.Id throw in Aquilani. At least then theres some desperation in the squad to create from the back and front. Not to mention Aquilani is a physical player as most inter fans found out during the coppa's and super coppa's.
Ambrosini offers nothing.Perrotta at least runs and runs.
To be honest im happy with the formation,if this is it.If we still cant score I would like to see Aquilani Boriello and Del Piero. If we do score and its 80+ minute. Ambrosini Aquilani and possibly Gamberini.5-4-1.I know Im old school with the tactics and it usually fucks up.At least this way there some substance in going forward though.

I think its to risky to put Aquiulani in at this stage. He only has 5 caps and I think the pressure would be too great.
I wish he played more qualifying and friendlies before this tournament so he could get some experience.

Aquilani was injured a lot this season with Roma. It's actually a compliment to him that he's even in the squad.

Regardless he and Boriello are the only original outfield players to not even play once. The Belgium game should have been an omen to Donadoni. You put the pressure off of Pirlo when you play a second creative force.
I suppose Im the only one who thinks he's a big game player.

Pirlo, along with Grosso, has been Italy's best player. Man of the match against Romania, dominated the game from his deep position. Was the only midfielder who did anything against Holland, could have scored with a couple of free kicks too.

Maybe for Milan, but as i said, at this tournament he has been one of Italy's best players. To drop him now really would make life even harder for them.
