Probably better everything Italia get posted here...once Euro is over, they are likely to archive this section and best to keep things here and not in the Azzurri forum. I think.

No Forza, match discussions will go in the match threads. We will have threads for every match of the Euro.
This thread Team: ITALY is to discuss Euro preparation, squad and other things in general.

I meant "here" as in the Euro forum and not in the Calcio Italiano->Azzurri forum.

I guess it's up to you, if people want to discuss things in the seperate NT forums then I don't see the harm in it.

I don't like being a dictator, but I think everything Euro related should be in here, and not in the separate NT forums.
Taking an example. We (the German fans) will discuss all Germany's Euro matches in here. After the discussion is over, I will just make a copy of the thread to the NT forum, but that's all.

Belgium are a very poor side, so no surprise. A passed test, which boosts morale, as you said.
Italy 3 - 1 Belgium
9' [1 - 0] A.D. Natale
41' [2 - 0] A.D. Natale
49' [3 - 0] M. Camoranesi
90' [3 - 1] W. Sonck
Did Luca Toni play?

I saw part of the game, first goal was impressive cross from pirlo and finish from di natale
after that it was all very mechanical... Belgium made a fatal error to give up the second after that I didnt watch.
but Italy are ready for euro, thats for sure. I would be shocked if they failed at the first stage, even if they are in the group of death.

Di Natale is turning into a machine. He loves to play for Italy, and opposing teams don't respect him because they know nothing of him. However if he gets a chance, its in the back of the net. He has a screamer of a shot, and pace. Deadly combination.
Luca opens up space for him.

I really like Alberto in the starting line-up.Really puts the pressure off of Pirlo.Ofcouse Im biased especially when I see him play week in and week out.He can do alot better. He was trying to collect the ball in a few occasions like he does at roma sadly gattuso bypassed him in order for the left side in which case the ball was stolen but he ( aquilani ) will get the ball more alot more then some think.
My only beef is that if Alberto starts...why was Montolivo dropped?Potentially Aquilani was suppose to be Pirlo's sub but who is our creator in the midfield from the bench.Aquilani is a bit fragile as well so dropping Montolivo for a defensive work horse wasnt the best imo. Then again Camo can come back and mould into a box to box CM/AM type that Aquilani was playing against Belgium.
What are other's thoughts on this formation.Surely De Rossi and Aquilani will be the future with Montolivo in the midfield.Italy's midfield is looking massively stacked.
Its time to start producing defenders again

Dumbenech is too good to put his hand on the trophy...i doubt it's due to superstitions.
