René Adler is the best German goalkeeper at the moment.

It doesn't mean much to coach Löw though.

And, Hildebrand did not deserve to be called up, as much as it might sound surprising to you.

I agree that Adler is a great keeper considering his age, but remember that Timo has experience in major tournaments, he did play in the confed cup played in the CL. I wished it was him in goal instead of that retarded old fag(Lehmann).

Löw Punishment Delayed

Germany will have to wait to find out whether trainer Joachim Löw is to be banned from the touchline following his sending off against Austria.

The Uefa disciplinary commission will not make a decision as to the fate of Bundestrainer Jogi Löw and Austrian counterpart Joseph Hickersberger until Wednesday.

Uefa media director William Gaillard made the announcement and revealed that they were looking into the incident and collating all the evidence before making a ruling.

The rules state that a trainer sent from the touchline is automatically suspended for one match, although it is feasible that they could decide against that in this case.

However, should a ban be handed down, then Löw would not be able to lead his side in their quarter final clash with Portugal on Thursday. He would also not be able to have any contact with the team after they arrive in the stadium.

Because Austria are no longer in the tournament following their 1-0 defeat to Germany, any punishment handed down to Hickersberger would have little effect in the Euro 2008 tournament.

Both Löw and the Austrian trainer were sent to the stands by Spanish referee Mejuto Gonzalez in the 41st minute of their Group B fixture on Monday.

The duo had got into a dispute with the fourth official with Löw complaining that the official was preventing him from doing his job properly.
