This will be an interesting little warm up, for most other nations, this would be a fantastic achievement to attend, but we'll attend because we are the world champions.

Really. Excellent. I like watching the Confederations Cup. Always great football matches. I remember a couple years ago Japan tied Brazil...awesome! Can't wait.

Confederation Cup It is contested by the winners of each of the six FIFA confederation championships (CAF, CONMEBOL, UEFA, AFC, OFC, CONCACAF), along with the FIFA World Cup champion and the host country, to bring the number of teams up to eight.

Actuallly, I have just found out that Italy is NOT a shoe in to attend. Apparently this is not mandatory or highly thought of.

Germany has refused attend twice from what I can gather?

Anyways, the thought of playing Argentina or Brazil is mouth watering to say the least.

Even if we weren't that interested we could still take part and take some of the kids over there for a bit of experience.

True. But I think Italy likes to add to their Trophy case too much.
