Euro 2008 Draw - Italian Perspective
Pot One: Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Holland
Pot Two: Croatia, Italy, Czech Republic, Sweden
Pot Three: Germany, Romania, Portugal, Spain
Pot Four: Poland, France, Turkey, Russia
Potentially we could end up with Italy, Holland, Germany and France in the same group.

I completely agree with what Jager said on the other thread, these draws are very fishy, I don't think Germany, Italy, Holland and France will be drawn together, my bet is they will all be on different groups

Pot 3 is simply stacked.Any of pot 3 can win the whole thing.Romania is a very tough team but considered the weakest.
Swiss Italy Romania Turkey/Poland is still a tough group as well.
I personaly wouldnt mind Holland Italy Germany and France for 1 group

I rather not play France right off the bat, but another match up with them would not scare me. We will be ready for our next meeting.
I rather not play Germany either, I think that matchup should be held later.
The only saving grace is that the top two teams advance, so I'm happy in that instant.

Dam we are really stuck with the group of death. And with france again. I can't believe it! It will be a tough group, we will have to start well and beat Holland.

A win and 2 draws might be enough to go through in a group this tough.

True but we can't bank on that. But whatever happens it should be a fantastic group and an even better Euro!

yes, I know but I am saying we can't go out looking for a draw. Then we can come up short (and not points wise), that is what I am saying.

A win against Holland would set us up nicely with Romania just after.
I'd hate to go into the final game against France needing a win.
