Germany - Euro 2008 group
The easiest group out of four.
Austria are a poor side we shouldn't have many problems against them.
Croatia and Poland won't be easy to beat.
But, we'll go through, I'm confident.
On paper, we're the absolute favorites of the group.
What do you guys think?

Germany should win the group and every match.
Austria might be the weakest side in the tournament, but they'll have the crowd support and they might be tough to beat. With that being said, I think Poland and Croatia have what it takes to qualify in 2nd place. I think Poland will be a bit underestimated by Croatia and will win because of that.

Germany tops the group. With 2 victories and a possible draw against Croatia (1-1)
The 2nd slot will go to Croatia, yeah. Poland might get something out of them but considering that Austria will be everybody's punching bag, Croatia should manage thanks to the possible draw against Germany...
Germany 7pts
Croatia 5 pts
Poland 4 pts
Austria 0 pots

Bierhoff Satisfied With German Euro Draw
German team manager Oliver Bierhoff has declared himself ‘happy’ with the draw for the Euro 2008 finals, which has seen Germany paired with Austria, Poland and Croatia.
Germany have been drawn in Group B and play their first game against neighbours Poland, who they also played in the Group stages of the last World Cup finals. They won that game 1-0 thanks to a late Oliver Neuville goal.
Croatia are the second opponents for Joachim Löw’s side. The two sides met in the quarter final of the 1998 World Cup, when the Croats eliminated Germany.
Hosts and outsiders Austria complete the group, and provide Germany’s final opponents in Group B. The Austrians were also outsiders in the 1978 World Cup, where they defeated Germany 3-2 to knock them out of the tournament.
“If you look at the other groups, I think we can be very happy” said Bierhoff.
“Playing the hosts is never easy, and we can’t underestimate Poland under any circumstances.
“On paper the Croats are the team that we have the most to fear from” he added.

Löw Excited Ahead Of Polish Reunion
Joachim Löw is in bullish mood ahead of Germany's Euro 2008 campaign as he steels his side to face Poland, Croatia and Austria...
It's been less than two years since Germany last squared off with neighbours Poland, but the two will reunite next summer at Euro 2008.
It was a close encounter of the nervy kind during the World Cup, but Nationalelf coach Joachim Löw is eager for the tournament to begin in order to set the record straight in what will be a gala occasion.
"We're excited," the boss told Sky Sports.
"When we played Poland in the last World Cup we only scored in the last minute.
"They were very strong and remember that game was in a German stadium with 80,000 fans. They showed great courage. I'm sure Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski will be excited to be playing Poland because of their origins."
The Germans will also take on Croatia and Austria in what coach Slaven Bilic has described as another group of death.
While most feel that Group C, involving Netherlands, Italy, France and Romania, is more worthy of that accolade, Löw is taking nothing for granted.
"It's a group that's not as difficult as Group C but everyone has to play at a high level to win this championship."

We should go through no problem. Germany and Croatia will be a good battle.
Yet, in the pit of my stomach, I feel that Croatia might win against Germany, but, who knows. When did Germany and Croatia play the last time, 1998?
I know Jogi will pick a very good squad for this summer, so anything can happen.
