Well, I just copied it from the DFB official site. Must be a typing mistake from them, I'll fix it now.

This should be an interesting game for us Germany fans.
Germany shouldn't have too much of a problem with them. However the Swiss were not too bad against England a couple weeks ago.....But then again, it's England.

Huth Ruled Out Of German Squad

The comeback of Robert Huth to the German national team squad has been ruined by a new injury for the defender, which will rule him out of Wednesday’s friendly with Switzerland.

The Middlesbrough centre back had won a call-up to Joachim Löw’s German squad for the first time since the World Cup in 2006, but has been ruled out with an inflammation of the articular capsule in his left foot.

The injury means he will be unavailable for the midweek friendly against Euro 2008 co-hosts Switzerland and adds to the lengthy injury woe of the defender nicknamed “the Berlin Wall.”

The 23 year old has been forced to leave the squad and fly back to England.

The Berlin-born defender last appeared for the national team in their 3-0 win over Ecuador in the 2006 World Cup. The injury comes as a severe blow to Huth, as Wednesday’s friendly is the last one before Löw reveals his final squad for the European Championships finals.

Joachim Löw has not nominated a replacement for Huth.

Default Last tough test before nomination

75 days before the start of the UEFA EURO 2008, German international coach Joachim Löw is putting his candidates through a hard test.

"The match against Switzerland is the last contest before the nomination. There are a lot of questions that have to be answered. It will be a very intense match, because to me Switzerland, who are building a fortress in Basel, is a favourite in the European Cup competition", said Löw in the run-up to the 800th international match of the German international team and the 50th meeting with their counterparts on Wednesday (20:45 CET) in Basel's St. Jakob Park.

Less than two months before EURO 2008

International players have less than two months to prove their merits before the official selection decisions are made on May 16th for the EURO 2008 in Austria and Switzerland (June 7th to the 29th). Neither the weak showing against Wales (0-0) in Frankfurt nor the injury situation of his players has been much of a source of irritation for the extremely calm German coach, who is heading the selection process of the German Football Association (DFB) going into his first major tournament.

"Of course we have to show improvement in comparison to how we played against Austria. We looked really bad in the first half of that match. But that match doesn't worry me because we didn't show what we're capable of", said the 48 year-old coach.

The tentative German line-up:

Lehmann - Lahm, Arne Friedrich, Mertesacker, Jansen - Schneider, Ballack, Hitzlsperger, Schweinsteiger - Gomez, Klose.

Man, i feel reallt bad for Huth. He has been trying for quite a while now to get back into the squad.

He finally started performing at the level of Low's expectations and he gets injured? That has to suck big time.

Poor dude.

Default Preview: Switzerland v Germany

When the German national team take on neighbours Switzerland in Bern tonight, goalkeeper Jens Lehmann will be under close scrutiny.

His former rival Oliver Kahn backs him, and German national team coach Joachim Löw is a firm believer in his capabilities. Still Jens Lehmann is under pressure when Germany take on Switzerland in Bern tonight (20:45).

Difficult situation

"It's a difficult sitaution, there's no denying that. Jens didn't play that well in Vienna, but he still has the coach's confidence. But he has to justify that in Bern, and he knows that", national team manager Oliver Bierhoff explained.

Lehmann, who made several blunders in Germany's 3-0 win in Austria in February, stays tight-lipped these days. "First of all I'll play the European Championships. Then it depends on whether I get a good offer. In that case I might play on for two years. If not, I might hang up my boots", Lehmann told "FIFA.com".

Triple jubilee

Löw, who is looking forward to his 20th match in charge as well as Germany's 800th international - with 50 of those against Switzerland - demands that Lehmann has to "rediscover that dominance and direct the team with loudness, as we're used to when he keeps goal."

If Lehmann fails to do so there might be an opportunity for fellow goalkeepers Timo Hildebrand or Robert Enke, but even a Euro call-up for youngsters Rene Adler (Leverkusen) or Manuel Neuer (Schalke) could still be a possibility.

Huth out injured

Per Mertesacker and Arne Friedrich will play at the heart of the defence with returnee Robert Huth denied by injury, and Philipp Lahm and Marcell Jansen play at full back.

Bernd Schneider and Bastian Schweinsteiger will get a chance in the midfield led by captain Michael Ballack, with Miroslav Klose and Mario Gomez expected to play up front.

German line-up as expected:

1 Lehmann - 16 Lahm, 3 Arne Friedrich, 17 Mertesacker, 2 Jansen - 19 Schneider, 13 Ballack, 15 Hitzlsperger, 7 Schweinsteiger - 32 Gomez, 11 Klose.

FT Switzerland 0-4 Germany

23' [0 - 1] M. Klose
61' [0 - 2] M. Gomez
67' [0 - 3] M. Gomez
88' [0 - 4] L. Podolski

I'll watch the repeat in about 20minutes.

Anyways, good to see Klose and specially Podolski on the scoresheet.
And Mario Gomez keeps destroying every defence he faces, Kuranyi has lost his place now, for sure.
