Hamburg's Trochowski Angling For Dortmund Move
German international Piotr Trochowski desperately wants to be a part of the German squad for the Euro 2008 championships, and seems to be after a move to Dortmund in order to enhance his chances.
"National players have to be playing for their club sides," the Hamburg man told the Bild Zeitung.
"The European Championship is my main goal. If I was there, I would be fulfilling a dream."
The player, born in Poland, has lost his starting place at Hamburg under Huub Stevens, and made only 16 Bundesliga starts.
Dortmund coach Thomas Doll, under whom Trochowski became a national team player at the AOL Arena, has already shown interest in his former player, and made an appearance at the German team hotel before the game against Slovakia this evening.
A chance to join up with his former coach is another factor influencing his decision to move to Dortmund.
Dortmund manager Michael Zorc has already contacted Hamburg’s sports director Dietmar Beiersdorfer, but have received a negative response.
"Piotr has a four year contract, and we expect a lot from him," declared Hamburg director Bernd Hoffmann.

Troche at the Akkroball World Cup 2007
The HSV midfielder Piotr Trochowski is very busy at the moment, despite the Bundesliga summer break. After being called up to the Germany squad for Euro 2008 quailfiers and then a trip to South Africa, where the 2010 World Cup finals will be staged, Troche has been in Abu Dhabi since Wednesday (20.06.07). On Friday (22.06.07), Trochowski will team up with the former Bayern and Liverpool star Didi Hamann, to represent Germany at the Akkroball-World Cup, where they will face the likes Patrick Kluivert, Denny Lanzaat (Holland) as well as Andy Cole and Carlton Cole (England).
"Volleyball" played with feet!
Akkroball is played over a net which is as high as a standard Badminton net. Each team consists of two players, who can either kick the ball over the net without letting it touch the ground or pass to their partner. Each game lasts eight minutes, with both teams allowed two time-outs. Trochowski and Hamann take on Spain and England first on Saturday (23.06.07). The first two teams from each group qualify for the semi-final stage.

See what she does then. You will have basically turned the tables on her. Tried this a few times, always works.

Trochowski/Hamann win Akkroball World Cup!
The Akkroball World Cup adventure was more than worth it for the German pairing of Piotr Trochowski/Dietmar Hamann. After coming through group games against Spain, England and Cameroon, "Troche" and "Didi" beat the Dutch representatives Patrick Kluivert and Danny Landzaat 9-8 in the semi-final. In the final, the German duo got revenge over Spain for an earlier group game defeat by beating them 14-6, making them the first ever holders of the Akkroball World Cup. The winners were presented with a piece of crystal weighing eight kilos, a holiday on the beach and a stay in a five star hotel as well.

Gunners Target Trochowski
It has emerged that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is lining up a bid for German midfielder Piotr Trochowski.
With Arsenal expected to complete the £12 million signing of Marseille youngster Samir Nasri within days, manager Arsene Wenger has already turned to his next summer target.
A report in the News of the World claims that Hamburg midfielder Piotr Trochowski is the Frenchman’s next target as he looks to bolster his midfield following the departure of Mathieu Flamini to Milan.
24 year old Trochowski is part of the German squad that is preparing for the upcoming European Championships and despite strong competition for places is tipped to feature for Joachim Löw’s side during the tournament.
He has been a consistent performer for HSV Hamburg over the past few seasons having joined them from Bayern Munich. He has been capped 12 times by Germany.
It is understood that Wenger is lining up a £5 million bid for the player, which is not dependent on him playing for Germany during the Euro finals.

I don't wheter he has enough class for Arsenal.
But when Hleb was linked with Arsenal many people doubted that he would be succesful there. If Arsenal would make them a good offer I would sell him in thei place.

Good player but i dont see why Arsenal want him. With Rosicky and Cesc there and possibly Nasri arriving soon, there's no room for him.
