NO! Don't take Super Mario, he is too good to leave the Bundesliga..
The fact that Stuttgart will be in the CL and Juve won't may help VfB keep him and I'm not sure if he is keen on leaving Germany so soon.
This guy is the new Klose, I want him at Bayern in a few years.

Let me sum this up quick..
- He'd ruin his career with a move to Juve
- He'd ruin his career with a move out of Bundesliga
- It would be a loss fort Stuttgart, no matter if Juve pay 25m
- It would be a loss for Bundesliga
Even though I'd be happy if he moves out of Stuttgart, because that would make Stuttgart weaker, I honestly wouldn't like to see him leave Bundesliga.
We're already loosing wordclass players, would be a shame if more leave aswell. I still blame Ballack for starting this fuckin' fashion.

Stuttgart: No go for Gomez
Bundesliga champions Stuttgart have made it clear they have no intention of selling Mario Gomez despite reports of a big-money offer from Juventus.
Stuttgarter Nachrichten claims Juve boss Claudio Ranieri is keen to bolster his options up front and is ready to make a €25million (£16.8million) offer for the young German international.
Stuttgart have denied that an official bid was lodged, but have taken the opportunity to insist Gomez will be going nowhere this summer.
"We won't let Mario leave. It would be the wrong signal for the team," director of sport Horst Heldt told Stuttgarter Nachrichten.
After surprisingly lifting the Bundesliga title, Stuttgart are determined to keep their young and promising squad together.
Rather than selling their most prized assets, they are looking to strengthen and have been linked with Real Zaragoza striker Ewerthon, Alfonso Alves of Herenveen and St Etienne's Bafetimbi Gomis.

'Goal of the Month' for Gomez
Germany's football fans have made their decision. Mario Gomez goal on June 2nd in Germany's Euro 2008 qualifier against San Marino has been voted 'Goal of the Month' for June. Gomez mae it 5:0 in the 65th minute with a back heeled effort from a Marcell Jensen delivery.
Hitzlsperger takes silver
On taking the award Gomez said: "I'm absolutely delighted that the fans voted for my goal. It was a very special goal for me, you don't score goals like that one every day!" Second place in the ranking went to Thomas Hitzlsperger who scored the winner as Germany beat Slovakia 2:1 four days after the San Marino clash. A VfB double at the top of the 'Goal of the Month' list for June.

A well-grounded star
Mario Gomez has a cinderella season behind him. bundesliga.de takes a look at the VfB superstar who remains very much down to earth.
It's something that prompts you to worry. Worry that Mario Gomez won't come back down to earth. VfB's striker has been on a mercurial rise in past months and his being dubbed an "up and comer" is highly understated, to say the least.
14 goals in 25 matches
At 21 years old, the son of a Spanish father and German mother found a way to break through last summer, scoring 14 goals and making eight assists, a feat that propelled Gomez to the rank of top striker with the reigning German champions.
Even the two months he lost to injury at the end of last season didn't cause Gomez to lose his stride. In the 33rd round against VfL Bochum, he scored a goal just six minutes after being put in and brought VfB back on track to win the title.
Gomez has played with VfB Stuttgart since 2001. A native of Riedlingen, he matured in the environs of the clubs SSV Ulm and SV Unlingen, earning all honours possible for a German youth player.
Made in Germany
And the stupendous performance of the future star was no secret to German national team coach Jogi Löw. Last February, the striker received his first invitation to start for the national team in a friendly against Switzerland and was quick to score his first goal as a national player.
In a second match against San Marino, "Super Mario" racked up two goals and received well-deserved praise from on high.
"He has everything a player needs to be a top striker" said Löw about last season's shooting star who has long since surpassed the likes of World Cup strikers Oliver Neuville, Gerald Asamoah and Mike Hanke.
Always the urinal on the left
Gomez has even assumed a role model status amongst his Stuttgart teammates and is the speaker for the "wild youth".
"When I put Mario in, it gives the squad a psychologica boost", explains VfB coach Armin Veh in speaking about the mult-talented striker.
Gomez is peerless when it comes to superstition as well. Before a match, he always uses the urinal on the left, always first ties the laces on his left clete and always watches an episode from the TV series "Stromberg" before every match..
VfB fans can rest easy
His level of play of course peaks the interest of other clubs. But Gomez can let VfB fans rest easy. "I know that a lot of European clubs have talked to my manager. But I also know where I come from. I have a lot to be thankful for here at VfB and I'm definitely staying here."
"Rocket Mario Gomez" is keeping his feet on the ground while he continues to fly in orbit, but there's no need to worry he'll lose contact with ground control.

Gomez signs on at Stuttgart
Quote:
Mario Gomez has signed a one-year extension to his contract at Bundesliga champions Vfb Stuttgart. The Germany striker, 22, is now tied down to the club until 2012, who acted swiftly after he hit 14 goals in 22 last season.
"By extending his contract by one year, Mario has clearly shown that he thinks of no other club than Stuttgart," general manager Horst Heldt declared at a club shareholders meeting.
"Despite the interest from several foreign clubs in the last few weeks, Mario has never considered a transfer.
"We are delighted that he has chosen Stuttgart for his future and we are planning with him in the long term."
Last season was his breakthrough campaign, helping Stuttgart win the title and winning three caps for the German national team, for whom he has scored three goals.

They've tied him now. Can't see him leaving Stuttgart in the near future, his transfer would cost a lot.
Smart move from Stuttgart, good deal for both parties I guess.

Bundesliga Footballer Of The Year: Mario Gomez
Stuttgart’s Mario Gomez has been voted the 2007 Bundesliga Player of the Year.
The 22 year old Stuttgart striker has come out on top in the vote organised by Kicker-Sportmagazin. The youngster polled 196 votes from Germany’s sports journalists beating Werder Bremen’s Diego into second place. Armin Veh was voted Trainer of the Year.
Gomez had a sensational season for the eventual Bundesliga champions, scoring 14 goals in 25 appearances. After a double-strike against Arminia Bielefeld in January, he was called up to the national squad by Joachim Löw.
In three appearances for the ‘Nationalelf’ he has already registered 3 goals. He scored on his debut at the start of February against Spain, and added two more in the 6-0 European Championship win against San Marino.
A curious double injury kept him out of the Stuttgart side towards the end of the season. A knee injury suffered against Wolfsburg was made worse when he broke a bone in his hand while training with a punch-bag.
He made a scoring return in the Swabians penultimate game against Bochum as they took over the leadership of the table.
Sent on after 55 minutes with Stuttgart 2-1 down, Armin Veh’s faith was repaid when Gomez headed in the equaliser. Stuttgart went on to win 3-2, Schalke lost to Dortmund, and the rest is well known.
“I never dreamt this would happen” he admitted. “I didn’t even realise that the vote was today. This is a huge honour for me.”
Gomez succeeds Miroslav Klose as the Player of the Year. Werder Bremen’s Diego polled 175 votes in second place.
Armin Veh was voted Trainer of the Year. He was the clear winner with 449 votes ahead of Hans Meyer with 221. Third place went to Petrick Sander of Cottbus.

Okay, he had a great season, but to be awarded 'Bundesliga Player of the Year'? No way!
Diego deserved that award. This is unfair of him.

Mario Gomez: Barcelona My Favourite Team
Stuttgart striker Mario Gomez has laid the groundwork for a future move to Barcelona.
Mario Gomez, who was named as the Bundesliga Player of the Year for 2006-07 yesterday, has admitted that he is a Barcelona fan, and would one day like to play in Spain.
"Clearly, I would like to one day play in Spain. Barcelona? Maybe, but Real Madrid are also a great club.
"Barcelona are my favourite team. But my Dad is from Madrid and my cousins from Granada."
Gomez has been one of the stars of Stuttgart's Bundesliga winning team, and has also earned himself a place in the German national team already.
The 20-year-old has already struck form this season, scoring thrice in three pre-season games as Stuttgart prepare to defend their trophy, and of course, to make an impact in the Champions League.

^ First he will have to play for Stuttgart again.
kicker.de reports that he will be on the bench on saturday for stuttgart and that the coach hopes he is good for 15 minutes.
I hope they don't overdo it. He is a very important player, also for the nt. And Stuttgart threw him in at the end of last season just to have him injured again

Gomez ready for Duisburg
German champions VfB Stuttgart have striker Mario Gomez available for the visit of promoted MSV Duisburg on Saturday.
"Mario Gomez will train with the team today and will be in the squad for Duisburg on Saturday", VfB head coach Armin Veh confirmed on Thursday.
Comparison to Toni
"Luca Toni only trained once with the Bayern team and played straight away. Mario is younger and in physically better condition. He has been training, it's not like he's starting from scratch."
There could be a change from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 with Ricardo Osorio fit again. "I prefer to play with two strikers", admitted the coach. There is no question that the team needs some time to begin running smoothly.
