Default Where will Vieri end up?

Basically Vieri turns 35 in the summer and Fiorentina have said they have no intention of renewing his contract, and who can blame them after Thursday night.

Anyway, at the moment it appears he has three options:

1. Italy - Napoli are reportedly interested, although he may have to settle for a bench role.
2. America - Money, money, money.......Vieri's never been one to turn that down.
3. England - Apparently Tottenham are interested, and lets not forget he can speak near perfect English.

He's already said he has no intention of retiring.

So, where's he going?

I doubt Tottenham would want Vieiri, specially at this stage of his career where he is past his prime and gets injured each 3 weeks (I heard he pulled a muscle missing the penalty on thursday is this true??).

I'm not aware of Napoli's situation, if they truly need him or not, so for me America seems a more logical choice.

Yes, he pulled his thigh muscle taking the penalty and he'll most likely miss the rest of the season now.

Napoli could use him, but as I said he'd be nothing more than a bench player and I'm not sure that'll be good enough for his huge ego.

If he wants to play regularly then the MLS is probably the best choice. If not, then maybe Serie B...

haha.
That's embarrassing, missing the penalty and getting injured.

Isn't he a bench player at Fiorentina as well ? I mean, Pazzini is ahead of him..

Vieiri in Serie B ? Can't see that happening, I'd say he'd rather take the American money. Also, a new country might do him good, since he's pretty much dated all of Italy, now he can search some American women..

Fiorentina play an out-and-out striker (Pazzini) that's supported by two forwards (Mutu and Jorgensen) so yes, technically he is a bench player. However, he's had some decent playing time this season. Mainly due to the fact that Pazzini is still fairly inexperienced and I don't think he's scored quite as many goals as the coaching staff had hoped. Napoli have some decent fire power, I just think he'll get less of a look in there.

At the very least he's dated every women in the North of Italy, he's actually the only player to have played for virtually every major Northern Italian side. Torino, Pisa, Ravenna, Venezia, Atalanta, Juventus, Lazio, Inter, Milan, Atalanta, Fiorentina....
