He'll most likely go abroad now, as long as they're in the CL.

No Roma, Joel? He is probably too expensive for Roma. How much do you think Camo would cost? As you know, i'm terrible with transfer fees

Probably around £5-7m.
Personally I don't think he'll end up at Roma.

I am quite interested to see that the Della Valles and Prandelli appear committed to taking a rather different approach at Fiorentina; try to develop young players which can be frustrating at times. The Viola will undoubtedly have the youngest team of any of the Italian sides playing in Europe this year; even if Ljungberg does arrive.
Speaking of Ljungberg, the issue appears to be his salary. At the moment, Fiorentina don't pay anyone more than 2.5 million euro; Ljungberg is making 3.5 million at Arsenal.

I doubt they will get Ljungberg. As you say money being the biggest factor.
I personally believe the club could buy better with less of a wage demand. Ljungberg is becoming less and less effective as his hairline recedes more.

In the end, developing your young talent is the way to go for Fiorentina, it will pay dividends in the long run, as they can be sold, and the cash can be used to improve the side.
I'm sure this club doesn't not want to go bankrupt like its former "self".

I'm assuming Prandelli has had a big say in this new project of Fiorentina's as that was exactly his mind set at Parma also. It has served well for him before, he is one of the top managers in the country for grooming young players into talents.
