Can Fiorentina get Europe?
Manuel Pasqual believes Fiorentina can earn a UEFA Cup place this season, what do you think?

The table should balance itself out by the end of the season. 2 teams who were promoted last season are in the top 8. Milan and Fiorentina should be up higher, the deficit has held them back, and watching them play early in the season u could tell it was on their minds.
For calcio's sake, I hope the right teams finish in the top 4.

I pick Palermo to drop further, and for Fiorentina to get the fourth spot.
I there is no doubt that Fiorentina will be in Europe. They have rebounded nicely to what of could of been a disaster.

Without the 15 point penalty they'd be third right now:
Inter 63
Roma 49
Fiorentina 43
Palermo 43
Empoli 35
Lazio 34
Milan 33
Catania 31
Atalanta 30
Sampdoria 30
They're having a great season, I expect them to get at least a UEFA Cup place.

The win against Empoli yesterday means they're only 6 points away from 4th place, things are looking god for them.

I think a Uefa spot. Milan will over take Palermo and finish third. Fiorentina will fall short. If they had some more better results earlier on, they would be much closer in the CL race.

I don't think you can really knock what they've done this season. As you saw in my previous post had they not been deducted 15 points they'd be third right now, just six points behind Roma.
In terms of getting results they've been the third best team in Serie A this season.

They're a great club with great players. The partnership with Mutu and Toni has been deadly. At the beginning of the season, CL was far from. After losing their first two games, morale was low plus the points penalty. But they've done well and deserve a Uefa spot for next season!

Toni can say what he wants, but if they don't get a CL spot, he is gone. Simple as that...he wants to play in Europe for someone, I don't think he cares to be honest.

The draw yesterday was a setback but luckily for them both Palermo and Milan dropped points as well.
Just look at Empoli though, they're becoming a real threat again.

I hope Empoli fall like a stone, in regards to Europe. They are NOT CL material.
They can't compete in that level.

I think that's a little unfair Jager, they're a well organised team.
And remember they've got one of the best defensive records in the league.

It is mate, but its about time the top teams go at it.
Empoli is just not ready for the commitment or what it takes.
Its best if Milan, Lazio or Fiorentina play in there.....
