True, but the last two seasons he has been hot.
Some players mature late. Actually, seeing how big and awkward Toni is, it doesn't surprise me that he has found his form at such an age.

Finally got past the 16 figure this afternoon, leapfrogging his unlucky 17 to 18 with a brace. Bravo Luca!
Let's hope he carrys this on into the World Cup now his 'spell' is broken..

Just heard on a Chelsea site from someone in Ireland that the Italian media (yes this is funny  ) are reporting Toni has been signed to a 2 year deal by Chelsea on 90k a week.
I don't believe it's true for a second, but I would like to know if it is indeed being reported.
