If Porto thinks that 25 million is to low for their star player than they have a right to say no..These insults on a class player is really astounding especially when Real Madrid get so much criticism for offering 80 or 100 million for C. Ronaldo..If I'm not wrong both players are still under contract why is Porto treated differently from Manchester United.

I won't take his words seriously, because Sacchi speaks out of his arse a lot of times.

But I will say this, if you talk shit about Quaresma, you just add fuel to his fire and he'll explode -- kick the shit out of you on the pitch.

The last time he was criticized that badly, he started against Italy and destroyed their defence.

See what she does then. You will have basically turned the tables on her. Tried this a few times, always works.
"Well, that was fun... in a fuckin' terrible, sick, not-at-all-fun way."

Ricardo Quaresma: forever a Porto legend. Thank you for all the memories.

If you really think about it, that is exactly what Sacchi is saying.

So him reacting well to criticism makes him an ordinary player?

No...I think his original point got lost in translation.

He says two things:

1. RQ would not do well in Italy. He might for a few games, but he is likely to disappear, according to Sacchi.

2. The fact that he needs "fuel" to play well against Italy, sort relates to point one, and the fact he disappears.

This all according to Sacchi, and you sort of backup.

Sacchi was a very successful coach, but if anyone can get the best out of Q its mourinho.

Moratti said Inter's roster is closed, Muntari was their last signing. If anything, they'll bring someone to cover the injuries in the defence.
OJOGO ONLINE

That settles it then.

Yeah, I think they'll bring in a defender. However never trust Moratti.

Day by day Quaresma seems to be getting further and further away from Milan. I don't think this will happen anymore, it's a shame really, I feel Quaresma could really do with a move to help him raise his game even more, but oh well... Porto can't be selling their major star for a crap. And yes, 20m € is a crap offer.

Well, it might be crap to you, but to some its the reality of football today. In Italy, even the big clubs are tyring to reign in the spending. They have too, they have no choice. They are also putting more effort in scouting, in which I feel will ultimately hurt smaller teams in Europe. Why?

If Inter, Milan and Juve are scouting you, you are going to pay attention. We just signed a very desirable young talent. To me Italy is developing young talent now, and we are signing the young talent.

RQ is a great talent, but I admire my club for not paying a ransom for him. They are paying what they think they can afford, and the market is talking. I see no other interest for RQ, at that price range.

It's not the reality of football, I don't agree with that, one bit.

When you have players like Nani going for 27m € or Madrid offering 70m € for Ronaldo or Liverpool paying 26m € for Robbie Keane, I think it's more than legit for a club that is the main club of it's country and who doesn't need to sell their players to ask for an offer above 30m € for their main star, isn't it so?

You know that if you want a Portuguese player, you need to take a gamble and fork out the cash the clubs demand. But, about 90% of the players are successful, so it's worth the gamble.

Moutinho is more than aware that we never sell players on the cheap, just look at how much he had to spend to bring in an above average player like Paulo Ferreira to Chelsea -- 20m €. Or a great player at the time, who turned out to be world class, in Ricardo Carvalho -- 30m €.

Also, a player in the level of Quaresma is worth so much more than 20m €, if you consider the super inflation in today's market, so for me, what Inter offered, is a crap offer.

That is fair enough, tbh that's what I'd rather my club did as well, instead of wasting millions of €€ in south americans, we should just give our youth a chance.

I really don't think 30m € is really that much, as explained above.
Also, the fact that there is no interest other than Inter Milan, has imo nothing to do with the fee we're demanding.

The other clubs that need a winger and have shown interest in the past:
Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Liverpool are focusing all their time and money on Gareth Barry and just wasted 26m € for Robbie Keane, so Quaresma is out of the picture.

Madrid are more worried in signing Ronaldo who can bump up their shirt sales, instead of building a team, so obviously they aren't showing interest either.

I agree with you Kahn

but the Italian giant clubs dont seem to spend as much money as they used to.

the EPL teams and Real madrid and barcelona seem to have more funds these days then the italian serie A giants.

anyways , porto with lucho quaresma, lisandro that most likely means theyll win the league title yet again.
