I believe Mourinho will leave at the end of the season, only if Porto wins the CL

after the sporting game and the whole ripped shirt saga mourinho said he wanted out of the superliga and who could blame him. his two first choice were barcalona and liverpool. barca for his time alreadt spent there ans he would love to go back. liverpool was the team that he cheer for as a kid i guess from what he said in an interview. i think he want to go to england first. the coach at pool is on the hot seat and might not be there next year. my good could you imagine what mourinho could to to that storied club. he would get a team with a budget almost ten times what he has now. mourinho has said that quarsema is one of portugal best young player if not it's best and could easily see him become the next figo. he has enough size pace and skill. now thats some strong praise coming from a man who does pat to many player on the back. when was the last time mourinho made a move for a player that didn't work out?

Paul your a pool fan who is that team set up? could they use quaresma. how and where would he fit in. and would a coaching change keep owen there?

He never played for Benfica. And he would be a great replacement for Deco. And I think Mourinho has 1 or 2 more seasons left in his contract

mourinho is under contract for 4 more years but has said he want out. not cuz of fcp but the way the superliga is runned. and how can pdc expect to hold the guy for another 4 years? he can't the reason both men sign contract extension was for compensation. what a beautiful word it going to cost the team he goes to next year some big buck to buy out his contract pdc is the man ha:

one more thing quaresma isn't coming to replace deco. wrong position. deco work in the middle with freedom to roam outside. quaresma never works in the middle. more like was the rumors about deco going to newcastle for viana plus 10 pounds. the viana would be coming to porto for 2-3 year according to rumors of this deal. but like everything else these are just rumors and speculation

Default Quaresma faces lengthy lay-off

Ricardo Quaresma could be out for up to three months (©empics)

Quaresma faces lengthy lay-off
Monday, 03 May 2004

FC Barcelona's Portuguese winger Ricardo Quaresma will miss the rest of the Primera División season and this month's UEFA European Under-21 Championship after breaking a bone in his right foot during his side's 4-1 victory over RCD Espanyol on Sunday.

Lengthy lay-off
The 20-year-old, who had only a slim chance of earning a place in coach Luiz Felipe Scolari's Portugal squad for UEFA EURO 2004™, is expected to be out of action for between two and three months after injuring his foot in a tackle by Espanyol's Pierre Wome after coming on as a late substitute at the Camp Nou.

Young hope
Quaresma is one of Portugal's brightest young talents and a regular for the U21 side. He made his only senior appearance to date against Bolivia in June last year but has since faced stiff competition for a place from the in-form Simão Sabrosa and Cristiano Ronaldo.

'A big loss'
Portugal open their U-21 finals campaign against Sweden in Mannheim on 28 May and his absence will be sorely felt, according to coach José Romão. "Ricardo Quaresma’s injury is a big loss for any national team," said the coach, who added: "We were counting on Quaresma as he is a great Portuguese talent."

Default Ricardo Quaresma Wants To Leave Barcelona

Can anyone translate this?

Quote:

translated this

Quote:
Ricardo Quaresma assured that its relation with Frank Rijkaard is not
good and confirmed that while the Dutch trainer continues in the
azulgrana picture, he does not want to play in Dog Barça.

Rijkaard has decided that Quaresma is yielded the next year. The Portuguese has different supplies from Spanish Liga, as in the case of the Racing of Santander, some of Portuguese clubs and also one of the Monaco, including in the operation of Ludovic Giuly.

The Portuguese, that it already had problems with its companions as a result of
declarations made against the trainer in the middle of season, it was very clear on its plans of future. "If Rijkaard leaves and is another trainer who enters, it speaks with me and it gives confidence me, then I will return, but if Rijkaard remains here, I do not return. Nor next year either ".

Quaresma did not hide its confrontation with the Dutch. "Rijkaard and I am not understood. I do not want to have problems in clothes, because my companions do not have anything to do this yet. That is thing mine and of Rijkaard ".

Luso does not think to play in Barcelona with the Dutch in the bench. "If Rijkaard says that I cannot play, then it is necessary to think to what club I go away, but if I leave it is for playing ".
