Yes, after falling behind, Inter started to take control of the game.
As for the two Portugese, Maniche was alright, even had a shot hit the post. He is still working out the system that he has to learn, and playing with new teammates, but I'm very happy with what I see. But time will tell....
As for Pele, every game that I see, he seems to get better. He plays like a thirty year old.
If he doesn't play for Portugal as a holding midfielder, like Pirlo, then I don't know who is running the Portugese show, but he needs to check out this guy in Italy.
I think we might get rid of Vieira because of Pele.
Pele was also the recepient of a nasty tackle from Mauro Camouranesi, but he got back and finished the game.
With C.Ronaldo, Queresma, Nani,....then you throw in Pele in the middle, and you have an incredible midfield.
Getting schooled in Italy to play DM...what more can you ask for?

It won't happen, jager.... Scolari is stubborn! He says he loves to play the young guys, that's a crock of shite!
I agree, Pele looks like he's an experienced player.... even ballotelli understands the game.

Now to be fair, I don't know much about Portugal's depth at DM or the ever coveted holding midfielder position. So to say that he should walk on to the Portugal team is a mistake on my part.
Who is ahead of him?

.... Miguel veloso, he's top class but Im afraid scolari will rather play his favorites (Petit, maniche) then the young guns. Pele should play for the U21 NT now.... they need him! I see what you see, a young player beyond his years but scolari won't recognize that.

I think he will develop into a better overall player than Maniche.
Fair enough. He should most definitely play for U21 side.

He's above class, if you seen what he's done today.... dictated the tempo of the game, when they needed to slow it down, he's there. He scored a professional goal, all class!
