Default Should Porto lose 33 points for using Lima?

Lima had fake papers and now they are taken 6 pts away from Belenenses, just ask the question

:.: Jornal Record :.:

OBRIGADO!

It would be ridiculous if Porto lose points through this.

The case itself doesn't make much sense, (how can FIFA not check the player's history before letting him participate in such an important competition as is the U20 World Cup?), let alone this whole assumption that Porto should lose points, utter nonsense.

Leandro Lima is the one that should be punished, it's absolute disgrace how people can fake their identities just to be able to participate in a tournament, it genuinely does not make sense in my head.

I'm sure Porto will try to offload him if an offer comes, he no longer has a future with the team. As mentioned on the other thread, Jesualdo never seemed to like Leandro and now he'll never have another chance to play, now that Porto are aware of this situation.

how could Fifa let him play on the U 20 world cup?

His Pato, David Luiz and others birth certificates temper?

Should Brasil face a suspension like Mexico did a couple years ago?

its not only Porto,
I also believe games should be won on the field

My thoughts exactly. (about your first question). As for Pato, he doesn't look nowhere near 18 years old to me, I could be mistaken, but I would say that Pato is at least 21. No 18 year old can run as fast as Pato runs, it's just not human.

I do think Brazil should face a suspension, but knowing FIFA, they would never punish one of the main footballing nations in the world. Also, I'm sure Joăo Avelange still holds a huge amount of power on the main decisions of FIFA.

I think all these players with fake identities should be banned from the game. If teams are banned from competitions for not following the rules, why shouldn't the players be banned when they don't follow the rules?

This is a very important issue that must be addressed.

So, what is lima's real age?

Brazil should face disciplinary actions -- I'm sick of FIFA not making a stance on this issue.

He is 22. Was 19 when he first came. Amazing how he just got 3 years older in a space of 6 months isn't it?

He look 18 years old to me. When I saw him live at the U20WC, people started to build the hype and he was average. Leo lima, the guy that duped us all --- was the star!

Pato was 'supposedly' 17 on this picture:

Surely doesn't look 17 to me.

Shocking stuff, i really didn't believe it when i read it.

I know he's made some mistakes but i hope this doesn't ruin his career, he has talent.

This one mistake will haunt him for life, as no club will be willing to take a risk, as they cannot be sure whether Leandro has actually told all of the truth or if he still hides something.

Knowing how Fifa runs things, they will not punish them.

Looks like the brazilian federation is entangled in a web, they can't get out of.

Fifa does love Brasil, i guess we will see how much they love them if they punish Lima harshly.
