Renteria roda no Estrasburgo

Renteria deverá rodar durante a próxima temporada na equipa francesa do Estrasburgo. Jesualdo Ferreira acha que o ponta-de-lança colombiano não tem maturidade suficiente para integrar o plantel do FC Porto e pretende que rode numa equipa que lhe proporcione mais oportunidades para jogar e uma adaptação progressiva ao futebol europeu. Os franceses do Estrasburgo deverão, assim, contar com o jogador que, contudo, mantém a ligação ao FC Porto e que os dirigentes portistas pretendem ver de regresso ao plantel no final da próxima temporada. Mas o avançado colombiano não será o único a deixar o plantel dos bicampeões nacionais.

Era inevitável que o plantel do FC Porto passasse por uma cura de emagrecimento antes do início da temporada. Depois de ter sido engordado pela contratação de nada menos que 11 reforços, era preciso garantir agilidade ao grupo de trabalho, obdecendo às orientações traçadas por Jesualdo Ferreira. Tal como O JOGO já referiu, o treinador dos bicampeões nacionais pretende trabalhar com um grupo de 26 jogadores perfeitamente definido: três guarda-redes (Helton, Nuno e Ventura), dois ex-juniores (Castro e Rui Pedro) e 21 jogadores de campo. Neste momento, e considerando já a cedência de Renteria ao Estrasburgo, o plantel portista conta com 30 jogadores, o que implica a dispensa de, pelo menos mais cinco atletas. Fernando, que deu boas indicações durante o estágio na Holanda, deverá mesmo assim rodar durante a próxima temporada num clube que lhe permita jogar com regularidade. Tarik, que também participou no estágio depois das dispensas de Alan e Vieirinha, também deverá voltar a ser cedido. Hélder Postiga, que surgiu recentemente apontado ao Levante, ainda não saiu, mas também não é considerado imprescindível, e também não deverá ficar no plantel. Finalmente, Jorginho poderá ser vítima da permanência de Lucho González acabando por surgir como excedentário no meio-campo. O Guimarães deverá ser o destino do médio.
