Van Bommel To Return To PSV?
Quote:
Eredivisie giants PSV are reportedly interested in re-signing Mark van Bommel...
Eindhoven side PSV are struggling domestically as well as on Champions League level this season. Therefore, they're eager to strengthen their squad in the upcoming transfer window.
The reigning Dutch champions still want to add a new striker to their squad and are in the market for a defensive minded player with experience at the highest level, too.
According to De Telegraaf, PSV have set their eye on Bayern Munich midfielder Mark van Bommel to bring in the necessary experience at the Eredivisie outfit.
The Dutchman is the first non-German captain of the Bavarian powerhouse, but has come in for criticism this season as a result of his temperament. Van Bommel seems set for the Allianz Arena exit door once his contract expires next summer.
The 31-year-old holding midfielder played for PSV before from 1999-2005 and his previous spell at the Eindhoven giants might tempt him to return to his beloved team.
Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if the Oranje international is set for a return to his native country. According to Bild, the former Barcelona man is on his way to Schalke 04, while Van Bommel has also been linked with various foreign clubs.

That wouldn't be good, as I would hate to see MvB go up against us. I think if he has to go, then let him go to a club outside of Germany.

Ha Ha Ha Ha!! Why would Bayern sell Breno, no way. Breno is a player that will be replacing our aging CBs -- Lucio is only a couple of years from being replaced, if he stays at Bayern. I laugh at how much talk is being given to all these players leaving Bayern, yet only talk of a forward coming. This is to unsettle some of our players.
I sure love how the article talks about Breno's chances being limited. He is only 19 and just got into the bundesliga not long ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn. Just like with Poldi, the media doesn't take any time in trying to say how all of our players are unhappy.

Especially the ones from goal.com, which I have not read an article yet without any mistakes on them, they're a bunch of amateurs.

Heh. The media always go crazy about our players, when the club is at the top they want to make everyone beleive that our stars want to leave us(both young and old). What a bunch of low life motherfuckers.

-- Podolski has been linked with Borussia Dortmund, Hamburg, Stuttgart, FC Köln, Manchester City and Real Madrid, according to BILD.
-- Hamburg's coach Martin Jol has somehow publicly admitted his interest in signing Mark van Bommel.

Let me add a few more clubs to Poldi's list -- Damn! Well at least we can pick and choose out of the best offers. Real Madrid want everyone, hell they have Van Der Vaart already, which is a similar type player to Poldi.
I do not want MvB going to another german club. He is a good player and we would only be helping our rivals win the bundesliga. HSV are a strong side and would only be stronger.
And tomorrow we will have more rumours about our whole squad is leaving, until then stay tuned in....

I dont see Podolski playing much like VDV. I think basically madrid want anything that can play striker or out wide- Podolski can play out high on the left so i could see them being interested.
I dont think MVB is going anywhere. At the end of the year he and ZE will be out though.

Yep -- now the media has crossed the line. Now that Mourinho has left, Our players have stopped filtering into Chelsea, as Mourinho is a fan of Bayern and our players.
But Kroos is going nowhere. I doubt there is any truth to any rumours
