I'd love to see Frey join, but I know he won't join. Not in the summer anyway. The board have repeated several times that Rensing will be no.1 and that is not going to change it, whether we like it or not.
The only way I can see Frey coming is a horrible season start for Rensing (if it happens), and Frey could possibly come in January. But, this is not happening either.

Planning for new season in full swing
Quote:
The clean-up operation after the weekend championship party is hardly over, and the players have either dispersed to their national squads or are in Asia on tour, but the board of directors is already immersed in the close season planning process in readiness for the new campaign.
"We can put our feet up for a couple of days, but then it's back to work. We started preparing for the new season weeks ago, and we're hoping for another highly successful campaign," commented chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
There will be no repeat of last summer's radical makeover on the playing side. "We have a successful, stable and mentally strong squad. It's a completely different going-in position. We only need to make certain very specific changes," Rummenigge insisted, although one vital factor had emerged from the overhaul a year ago: "One excellent player seems to be more help than three average ones. If we bring anyone in, it'll be because of quality.“
Germany international Tim Borowski is the only confirmed new arrival, and Rummenigge declined to reveal any further targets by name. Michael Rensing will definitely succeed Oliver Kahn in goal, but the club is known to be looking for an experienced number two in support of the young shot-stopper.
A striker may also be on the club's shopping list, as Jan Schlaudraff's departure for Hanover has left Luca Toni, Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski as the only recognised strikers in the squad. Manager Uli Hoeneß has not ruled out adding a raw young talent as a fourth striker with an eye to bringing him on in the future.

Amelia Wishes For Bayern Munich Move
Relegated Livorno goalkeeper, Marco Amelia, insists that he will jump at the chance to join Italy team mate Luca Toni at Bayern Munich.
Quote:
The Amaranto were relegated from Serie A and Amelia, who is one of Italy's best shot stopper's, is looking for a move elsewhere.
The Azzurri number two reveals that he wouldn't mind a new challenge away from Serie A and he has hinted that his next destination maybe in the Bundesliga.
"There is a very good chance that I will leave Livorno this summer," said Amelia.
"I don't think the club will be relying on me in Serie B but for now all I am thinking about is the national team.
"Me and Toni at Bayern Munich? I wish, if they call me I will run there."
Oliver Kahn retired from the game after Bayern's 4-1 win over Hertha on Saturday following a distinguished career in between the posts and Bayern would need a replacement for the 38-year-old.
Amelia is likely to be called up to Italy's national squad which will take part in the Euros next month. The 'Keeper was Gian Luigi Buffon's understudy at the 2006 world cup and he will be hoping he gets the nod from Roberto Donadoni once again despite being relegated with Livorno.

Amelia is a good goalkeeper, from what I've heard, and from what I've read. A lot other clubs are interested in him aswell.
Wouldn't be a bad no.2 I suppose. We've also been linked with former Leverkusen goalkeeper Hans-Jörg Butt, who currently is the no.2 of Benfica, but earns a lot money.

And unfortunately for you Fiorentina made the CL, so another reason not to leave.

Frey Staying In Florence - Agent
Sebastian Frey is likely to stay at Fiorentina according to his agent, despite reports claiming he will join Bayern Munich.
The French goalkeeper has, perhaps, been Serie A's best goalkeeper this season and his presence was a key factor in making the difference for the Viola's success in Champions League qualification.
Frey has constantly been linked with both Milan and Bayern. The Rossoneri are in desperate need of a goalkeeper as both Nelson Dida and Zelko Kalac seem like they are on their way out.
Munich on the other hand need to replace the retired Oliver Kahn who hanged up his gloves at the weekend.
However, it seems as if neither club will be able to land Frey after his agent dismissed the reports.
"Frey? I think he will remain in Florence," Carlo Pallavicino told TuttoMercatoWeb. "So far there haven't been any offers from any clubs and he is happy working alongside Cesare Prandelli.
"Seba is very happy with Fiorentina and he now has the chance to finally play Champions League football with the Viola so I doubt he will be leaving."
The Viola beat Milan in the race to play Champions League football and it seems highly unlikely that Frey will give up that chance and play in the UEFA Cup with the Rossoneri.

Non only Milan, Inter and Chelsea for Deco: during last hours for the brazilian midfielder, become portuguese, have appeared Bayern Munchen. The german team after the reject of Gattuso, are searching a player for the midfield.

I'm not completely against this ...
but is he an upgrade? I don't really think so. If Bayern is going to get someone, don't just add depth - go for quality.
