I think it could be less than 25 million next summer though, but I'm not sure, as he has a contract until 2012.

highly depends on what kind of season he plays this year buddy.
If he scores another 20 goals I can see arsenal offer 30 mios. Wenger is a very big fan of Gomez
Personally i would like to trade klose +10 for gomez

Agreed...I would make that trade in a heartbeat. Two giants like Toni and Gomez, then Podolski? It'd be over for everyone else.

i agree. I also would like us to sign at least one more experienced central midfielder. Someone who knows when to slow down the game. When you have to play foul and when you have to speed it up. I can only name Gattuso again. Someone with his skills and experience
But for the future. Klose is 30 now, Luca toni 31. and I'm sure he will leave for italy again before the end of his career. And if you look at the really promising young strikers there is not many with Gomez skill and physical strength.
The only thing i see about him is his proneness to injuries, other than that he is a future superstar

Yeah Eric , I'm also thinking that next season toni will back to italy his dream to get the 100 goals their .
In the midfeld i wish that maybe diego can join us he is a world class
and a good DM
I'm dreaming about this medfild for next season:
...................Mister X...................
Schweini..........................Ribery
..................Diego......................
Great No !?

I like Diego a lot. It's always amazing to watch him play.
But if you look at my Toni Kroos thread we might alread yhave someon in our squad with similar abilities
Anyway thinking on it, we should consider buying another talented young striker. Not one of the 20 mio kind, but some promisng player with talent who can live with getting just a few chances and will give his best then.
Or maybe some old veteran who is still good for a few goals if you throw him in. the pippo inzaghi kind of player....

It's true on Klose and Toni. They are getting old.
We keep Podolski of course. But a while ago i posted that we were linked with a striker from Zenit who's pretty good.

And about the DMs, i have no damn clue. We have to forget Gattuso. We have to look elsewhere.

Gattuso is 31 years old we dont need him , in the DM role we should buy a player that his age will be 23-27 .. thats good .

Bayern Munchen wants Toto Tamuz
Quote:
German giant Bayern Munchen is intersted in Israeli striker Toto Tamuz. Tamuz's manager Ronen Katzav announced to website 'ONE' that a fax arrived today, in which Bayern wants to start talks concerning the Beitar striker.
Tamuz can become the third Israeli player in the German Bundesliga after Monchengladbach's Roberto Colautti and Gal Alberman.
Ronen Katzav told 'Sport99': "Bayern Munchen is already thinking about Toto Tamuz for a long time. When Twente was intersted, we already knew about Bayern. Munchen is looking for a young and talented striker. We can start talks. If they want medical tests, no problem. But we are not interested in try-outs."
"Toto Tamuz is a special player and he has the potential to arrive at the top in Europe." added Katzav "Beitar doesn't want to let him go, but they realise that it concerns a big European club. If Bayern wants to sign him, but to send him to a second division team we'll tell them that we are not interested."

Bayern Munchen wants Toto Tamuz
OMG , I am very surprised .
I know this player ,he is playing with bietar jerusalem , he was in another club and beitar buy him in 2006 .
Toto Tamuz has a good talent and a potinial , he was great in 2005/2006 season .. When he came to beitar he got injured and struggled down..
But in my opinion that will be a big step for him..... ( As i heard he is in a dream now )
xD ^^

I'm conflicted about this.
It does sound all nice and good, on having a promising striker on our ranks...
But we have a promising striker on our ranks. Thomas Muller.
So, i dunno what will happen here.

I have mixed opinions about this. A trial would be the best option for the moment, try him first and see if he's good.
We need a good no.4 striker, not just anyone.
