You have a point, but we also have to aid the NT by raising our own(German) players, this new 6+5 rule will do lots of good. I dont like signing too many foreigners. It will make homegrown players like Poldi unsettled and wll leave their country to play in other leagues and a slight chance that they will not be too successful. In the 70s(as I shown in the German NT Multimedia thread) ALL NT players were playing in Germany with 6(I think) players from Bayern only.
Ok Ill finish here. We can discuss this in another thread if you like.

Meanwhile, general manager Uli Hoeness has poured cold water over speculation linking the Bavarian giants with Stuttgart striker Mario Gomez - even going so far as to rule out any summer signings.
"No additional players will be signed," he said.

Luca Toni on new transfers..
Quote:
The 31-year-old is optimistic about his club side’s future, and stated that the Champions League title is a priority at the Allianz Arena.
The club have invested in Hans Jorg Butt and Tim Borowski this summer, but Toni believes more signings are necessary in order to fulfil Bayern’s ambitions.
He continued, when asked whether the club needs to strengthen their ranks: "We have a good team, but in my opinion it is very clear, yes.”
"In order to win the Champions League you need as many champions as possible. Let's see what Bayern are still prepared to invest."

Fußball - 1. Bundesliga - Gattuso: War nahe an einem Wechsel zu Bayern
In a fresh interview with Bild, Gennaro Gattuso has admitted he was close to joining FC Bayern.
While many players were absent in the "Goal4Africa" charity match, Gattuso didn't hesitate to come to Allianz Arena.
"I was very close to a move to Bayern, I have tried everything to come to Bayern. Actually, everything was clear. But it was not possible to leave. Milan didn't want to sell me under any circumstances. If I would have left Milan after almost ten years, then only for Bayern.", Gattuso said.

We didn't buy them, really.
They came for free.
But we do have a great squad you know. It isn't the end of the world.
But... It would be a good idea to start scouting for a good DM talent for when ZeRo leaves. Will be a hard replacement but we have to do the best we can.

Bayern needs one more attacker, 'cos there are only 3 (Klose, Toni and Poldi) what if someone get injured, the other two will be playing the whole matches all the time...

I wanna see if Klinsmann puts Thomas Muller to play the upcoming friendlies.
If he keeps showing good stuff, wouldn't make a bad 4 striker. Don't you think?
If we can give Toni Kroos chances 'cause he's got skill. Why not this guy?

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge on…
Quote:
…whether three strikers are enough for the new season: "We believe so. We also have Thomas Müller, a young lad from the youth section, who's surprised us very positively with the way he's played in the friendlies so far. He can help the seniors in an emergency, but otherwise he'll pick up match practice in the reserves. We think he can make it here at the club. We have a two-pronged strategy: bringing on our own youngsters, and bringing in an occasional superstar.“
…Bayern's transfer plans: "We're not planning anything else for this summer. We contemplated bringing Alexander Hleb to Munich, but only if another player had chosen to leave us. That didn't happen, so the chapter marked Hleb is closed. I'm also assuming Mario Gomez won't become available. We do know he has a get-out clause in his contract which may allow us to sign him in the future.“
|
Once again, a confirmation that we are not going to bring anyone new. It has to be the last word on this issue, so whenever you read about new transfers, remember it's fake news.
I didn't know that Hleb would come only if someone left. If one was to leave, who would that be? Interesting. Good to hear about that special clause on Gomez's contract, he will be ours sooner or later.
As for the striker, it is clear what he says. If we need the fourth striker, Müller will most likely get the urgency call. If he's not good enough, than they are going to bring a new striker or a superstar as he says. And, that's gonna be either Gomez or someone else.
Doesn't sound bad.
