Do any of you know why there are 3 stars on top of Bayern's logo?

Stars stand for titles.

1 star - 3 titles
2 stars - 5 titles
3 stars - 10 titles
4 stars - 20 titles

We've 19 titles (20 actually, but one of them is unofficial, it's before the actual Bundesliga).

The next title we get (this season, hopefully), we'll have the 4th star added.

Thanks for answer, I didnt know I ask for that a lot of big Bayern fans and they didnt know too!

lol I suppose..

I thought it was like Germany's crest, they have 3 stars as they won 3 WC's, so for Bayern would be 3 starts for 3 CL wins, but they have 4 CL wins so its doesnt make sense

those teams are allowed to wear stars in the german bundesliga

3 Stars - Bayern München (Champion 69,72,73,74,80,81,85,86,87,89,90,94,97,99,00,01,03 )

2 Stars - Borussia Mönchengladbach (Champion 70,71,75,76,77)

1 Stars - Werder Bremen (Champion 65,88,93,04)

1 Stars - Hamburger SV (Champion 79,82,83)

1 Stars - Borussia Dortmund (Champion 95,96,02)

this only counts for the bundesliga and prior titles don't count, or nurnberg would be entitled to two stars as they have 9 championships all prior to 1963

The respective current champions also hold a further privilege. They are the only Bundesliga club allowed to attach a specially-manufactured Bundesliga logo on the sleeves of their shirt, the so-called "Champions badge". It doesn't show the stylised footballer in white, but in gold.

Didn't know about the golden budesliga logo! That's pretty cool!
I'm excited to see 4 stars on a shirt!! How do you see it lining up? Two on top and two on bottom? Or one on each side? Etc... ?
