Congrats everyone.
I had my doubts in the winter break, where we were tied in the top with Werder Bremen. But that's all in the past.
Looking forward into seeing that 4th star on the shirt.

By any chance did someone else get as many as 16 goals? If so to be better then United trio or Rooney , Tevez and Ronaldo.

Don't forget how poor level German football are on these days. They have no chance in the european cup and that says it all. Even Bayern Munich have become a average team in european standard.

Actually, Bundesliga's level has improved a lot.
People (fans of teams of other leagues) are actually enjoying watching Bundesliga.
You know, football is with periods. There was a time when German teams dominated in Europe, and you know that well.
It will come back, again, sooner or later.

Hoeneß Already Eyeing Champions League
With Bayern’s Bundesliga triumph less than a day old, manager Uli Hoeneß has already turned his attention to next season’s Champions League.
Bayern completed the league and Cup ‘double’ on Sunday when they clinched the point they needed against Wolfsburg, but missed out on their desired treble having been knocked out of the Uefa Cup at the semi final stage by Zenit St Petersburg last week.
With Jürgen Klinsmann coming in next season to replace Ottmar Hitzfeld, the new trainer will be charged with taking Bayern into the Champions League, where manager Hoeneß believes Bayern belong.
"For us, the priority this season was to win the Bundesliga. I am completely satisfied" Hoeneß said.
"We will certainly be placing a lot of importance on the Champions League next season."
Although there will be no repetition of the spending spree of last summer, when Bayern spent 75 million on new players, there will be new investment in the team so they can challenge for the Champions league once more.
Milan's Gennaro Gattuso has repeatedly been linked with the Bavarians, as has Roma's Daniele De Rossi, after Bayern striker Luca Toni expressed his wish to have a fellow Italian in the team with him next season.
Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge refuses to be drawn on specific transfer target, but has promised "an excellent team on the field again next season".
However, before the planning for next season takes concrete shape, Bayern intend to celebrate their achievements from this season.
"We are going to have a huge party after the game against Hertha Berlin on the final day of the season" Hoeneß revealed.
There will also be an open-topped parade through the streets of Munich on May 17 which will conclude with the traditional presentation of the trophies at the Marienplatz in the city centre.

The champions 2007/08!
The Bayern players were tired after the final whistle in Wolfsburg, but not too tired to celebrate!
The goalless draw at VfL Wolfsburg had been enough for the 21st German title - the 20th in Bundesliga history - and the beer showers were almost uncountable.
Coach Ottmar Hitzfeld wasn't spared, and neither was Executive Director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Only Franz "Kaiser" Beckenbauer survived in the TV studio, and he acknowledged: "the team deserves the title. They were on top right from the start, which doesn't happen so often. It was an excellent season!"
How did Bayern win the title?
Who were the FCB heroes?
Which part did coach Ottmar Hitzfeld play?
bundesliga.de has answered all these questions and presents the championship package!

Agreed with Trim that the bundesliga has improved and has been drawing in more players from abroad. In the past ,iIt seemed that only Bayern could pull in great players, but now the top half teams seem to be doing it all the way down to Wolfsburg. As mentioned before by ZeRo and Lucio, Brazilians are big fans of the bundesliga. Also Shalke and Werder over the years have impressed in the CL. So I can keep seeing the bundesliga strengthing, which is why Bayern have learned their lesson last year and purchased a world class squad of players. Although some underperformed, I hope that this Summer we look to replace those with some outstanding purchases which should make us look invincible on paper.

The three stars on the kit stand for the three WC titles. Because Argentina only has one star and they won the WC only once but they won the SAC multiple times. That is why Italy is now allowed to wear four stars. But don't worry Germany will also have four stars after the WC 2010 in Southafrica.
