The problem is Hitzfeld and his policy with playing players, and subbing. When a problem is seen, which all of us could see long before the subs were made against Getafe. Can we sub the coach for once? Maybe Hitz needs some bench time with Klose. Anyway, here we go again against a supposed "lesser" team -- what is Hitz planning for this game. He'll probably keep under-performers on the field the whole game, and sub out the decent players, but he'll wait to do it in the 80th minute, and allow the other team to score an equalizer. Nonetheless, We still are sticking with things in the bundesliga, so lets hope we don't blow it!

This is a very important match, for many reasons.
1. Boosts morale for Getafe return leg
2. In case of a possible Hamburg defeat (they play Stuttgart away), we can extend the lead to 10 points.
We must take the 3 points.

Absolutely. Not only a win, a thrashing would be important as well, the fans demand it after that piss poor 2nd half display against Getafe.
I want Klose to start, but not ahead of Podolski, I think we should rest Luca Toni for the Uefa Cup match. Klose-Podolski always worked well for the NT, I'd give it a go.
I'd rest Ribery as well, he really seemed exhausted to me against Getafe, I'd start Sosa and Schweini, Ribery comes off the bench if needed. I'd also like to give Kroos a go, with Hamit out, it's a great opportunity for 1 of our other 3 attacking mids and deep down inside I'd like Kroos to outshine everybody else.
Schlaudraff should get some minutes as well, he hasn't played in a long while. My last change would be resting Ze Roberto too, I honestly think we can beat Bochum even if it's 1-0, what matters is the 3 pts. The match with Getafe is IMO more important at this stage, also considering our lead.
So my XI would be:
...............Kahn
Lell....Lucio...Demichelis....Jansen
..........MvB.......Kroos
...Sosa..................Schweini
.......Podolski....Klose
I don't think it will happen, but still. One can dream
EDIT: Speaking of which, HSV are losing 1-0 against VfB at HT. Come on Stuttgart!

Damn it. Schalke won. We currently have a 6 pt lead. More reason into winning this game. We must stretch it to 9 pts.

I want to see more Sagnol myself. He needs to get back into it. Resting players does make sense, but lets not get carried away and repeat what has burned us in the past, with putting too many bench players on the field. I think to give those bench players more time is to start a couple of them, but sub earlier with them if we are doing well. ALthough, I hate to see other teams score late against us. Since we are winding down the season, and we are ahead of everyone else on points, why not play Rensing more in the bundesliga and give him more experience, and that way we put stronger players on the field to offset Rensings experience.

Because, even though he can't tackle to save his life, he attacks a lot, gives us a lot of width to the flank and Lahm played the last 2 matches, so a bit of rotation would be ok.

Bayern poised for decisive title thrust
Bayern will hope to feed off their lingering anger and irritation at Getafe’s last-minute strike in the 1-1 UEFA Cup draw last Thursday when the men in red turn their attention back to the Bundesliga at home to VfL Bochum on Sunday (Live in English from 4.45 pm on FCB.tv Web Radio). “We’re looking forward to the match, because we owe the crowd something,” Ottmar Hitzfeld commented.
“I hope Bochum feel the force of our pent-up frustration,” the Bayern coach continued. “We have to invest everything we’ve got. This is not the time to let up, even though we already have a nice cushion. We could set off for Getafe on a high,” observed Marcell Jansen, with an eye on next Thursday’s return leg in the Madrid suburbs.
Aiming for two home wins
Before Hitzfeld and his troops go in search of a UEFA Cup semi-final berth, they could take a decisive step towards a 21st German league title on Sunday. Saturday’s results included a 1-0 defeat for Hamburg in Stuttgart, so victory over Bochum would send Bayern nine points clear of new second-placed team Schalke 04, 1-0 winners at home to Rostock.
“The important thing is to win our consecutive home games against Bochum and Dortmund. It would make it very tough for our rivals, because the games are running out,” commented chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, describing Hamburg’s defeat as “great news for us." Hitzfeld agreed with the club chief. “We need to make the most of back-to-back home games and increase our lead at the top.”
VfL in good form
However, Sunday’s match will be anything but a walkover. Eleventh-placed Bochum are undefeated in six matches and have only lost once since the winter break. “Bochum have done exceptionally well so far,” acknowledged Hitzfeld. “Everyone thinks we only have to turn up and collect the points, but it won’t be that easy,” Mark van Bommel warned.
The men from the Ruhr valley have amassed a creditable 33 points, a full ten clear of the drop zone, and will be under no pressure at the Allianz Arena. “It’s a good feeling coming to Munich knowing you don’t need the points,” remarked VfL striker Benjamin Auer, although that did not mean his side would surrender without a fight. “Obviously, it would be great to take a point or three off Bayern.“
Hitzfeld focusing on UEFA Cup
Hitzfeld demanded “concentration and desire” from his team, calling for “a win to give us breathing space in the Bundesliga. I’m convinced we’ll come though in the UEFA Cup, so we’ll still have a couple of demanding games in Europe.“ Matches against Bochum, Getafe and Dortmund promise a tense and exciting week at the club.

It's good news that HSV won, would have been perfect if Schalke lost aswell, so we could have got to a ten point lead if we win today against Bochum. Well, anyway, a 9 point lead wouldn't be bad. We have to get that, today.
I hope Hitzfeld has prepared something good. We (the fans) need to see some good football and goals from FCB today.
