Zidane: I would have gladly played for FC Bayern
Zinedine Zidane told German newspaper ‘Bild’ that he would have gladly played for the Bavarian heavyweights, Bayern Munich.
“Unfortunately I never recieved an offer, but I always had Bayern in my eyes and I have admired them”, declared the French football legend, Zidane.
For Zidane, Bayern Munich is an Institution.
‘Zizou’ thinks that Bayern Munich, together with Real Madrid, AC Milan and Manchester United, are one of the four best clubs in the world.

Too late Zizou.
You should have spoken earlier.
There are others big players in the world that like Bayern, shame the management doesn't believe so.
We should have contacted Zidane.
What a big no.10 he would have been.

Not really mate. Could give an argument but i don't wanna start a fuzz.
I would have loved having Zizou at Bayern Munich!! Damn it... He should have comment about that earlier. By the way, did the board ever show interest in him?? Oh well. I guess we couldn't have obtained him anyways. Madrid paid 79 mill euros for the dude. I don't think BM would have wanted to pay so much money...
Anyways, we have the new Zizou, who's name is Ribery So i'll be happy with that

Zidane at Bayern would have been big, but as Vargas pointed out, he would be awfully expensive, we could never afford him.

I think it could have been best to get him after the WC... offer him a contract and you have him! he was still a big name..
trim is right. some players love to come to bayern, the management doesn't realize that... they should offer the biggest names in euope to join them.
you can start with riquelme .

We could have got Riquelme this summer, and we still can get him next summer.
But the board and the coach don't want a typical number 10.

Riquelme would be a great signing for Bayern Munich. He is a great player, but just needs the correct platform to show that he is one of the best in the world.
Bayern Munich would be an ideal place for him to do that.

The problem is that Riquelme never plays good for great teams !! You should all remember how he failed at Barca !!

I don't agree, Riquelme needs a team that works around him and we won't change our system just for one player.
Trim said it best, Bayern don't want nor need a typical number 10, we would rather have 2 box to box midfielders, like we currently have.

i thought that riquelmes problem is that he can't play with big names .... he wants all the attention on him .....
i think he isn't good for our system .... he is very emotional ..

Zidane coming out after the fact and saying this stuff, is kind of garbage, don't you think?
Like honestly, if he wanted to play, he tells his agent, and he leaks something through the press, that is how its done.
But Bayern couldn't afford to buy him.
